This Golden Triangle Tour will take you through the heart of India travelling to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, taking in sights such as the Taj Mahal and the bustling bazaars of Jaipur. This is one of the most exciting and rewarding travel destinations in the world, wherein you will visit colourful and vibrant cities, exquisite temples and superb scenery.
Your Itinerary —
Meet our representative upon arrival in Delhi and check-in at the hotel. India's capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind.

Day 2: Tour of Old Delhi & Cooking Demo
After breakfasr proceed to discover the capital of Delhi. Begin with Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid a praying centre, & Red Fort (Closed on Mondays) built by Shahjahan, the builder of Taj Mahal in Agra, The construction lasted from 1639 to 1648 & Raj Ghat - the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation.
Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride in the old city passing through spice market and tasting various local delicacies. Proceed for a cooking demo with Ms Ruchira Hoon, India’s renowned food commentator and menu curator for some of the most celebrated restaurants.

Day 3: New Delhi & Art Gallery
After breakfast, you will be taken on a tour of New Delhi. The New Delhi excursion will be a drive past India Gate and The Government buildings also known as Lutyen’s Delhi named after their architect Edwin Lutyens. You will also visit the Qutub Minar - built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, who took possession of Delhi in 1206. It is a fluted red sandstone tower, which tapers up to a height of 72.5 meters and is covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an.
You will have time for lunch then visit Must Art Gallery, where you will find an assortment of magnificent pieces of contemporary tribal art paintings and sculptures. Enjoy a cup of tea with the curator of the gallery.

Depart by road to Agra (Approx. 3 Hours from the Yamuna Express way). Upon arrival you can enjoy lunch then the afternoon is dedicated tovisiting the Agra Fort - behind its forbidding red sandstone Battlements lie palaces that tell the story of the Moghul Empire.
Visit Taj Mahal by Sunset (Taj Mahal closed on Fridays). On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Shahjehan built her this memorial. It took 22 years to build this monument. Short drive to the ITC Mughal hotel for Dinner at ‘Peshwari’ restaurant which serves Northwest frontier cuisine.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur
Depart by road to Jaipur (240kms/ Approx. 6 hrs). En route visit Fatehpur Sikri - 37 kms west of Agra lies the ghost City of Fatehpur Sikri - an epic poem in red sandstone, built by Emperor Akbar the Great in 1569 and deserted 14 years later because its water supply failed. Afterwards, proceed to the hotel.

Proceed for full-day sightseeing trip of Jaipur, also known as the ‘Pink City’. The city of Jaipur is capital to the state of Rajasthan, famous for its colorful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. Jaipur owes its name to the founder of the city, warrior king Sawai Jai Singh II. Visit the Amber Fort. Prominent structures inside the fort are the Diwan-i-Aam, adorned with latticed galleries, the Ganesh Pol, with a beautiful painted image of Lord Ganesh, and the stunning Sheesh Mahal, a hall decorated with thousands of tiny mirrors.
After the tour of Amber fort, you will have lunch at Raj Palace and proceed for the city tour of Jaipur in the afternoon.
Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” This beautiful façade with its ornately carved latticework windows was designed so the ladies of the palace could look out onto the streets unobserved. Later you will visit the City Palace… again, a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The museums here showcase rare and ancient manuscripts, arms dating back to the 15th century, and costumes of erstwhile royalty. You'll also visit Jai Singh's Observatory, comprising geometric devices for measuring time, and tracking stars in their orbits.
Later you will visit the local colourful Johari Bazaar, the most popular market in Jaipur. Take a look at Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar, the most popular sweet shop in Jaipur and try the local delicacies. Afterwards, visit the Lassiwala for trying a local drink made of Yogurt and served in "kullad" (Earthen Pot) which need to be smashed after drinking.

Day 7: Jaipur - Udaipur
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Udaipur (approx. travel time: 7 hours / 395km).
Overnight at Fateh Niwas Udaipur with breakfast included.
Today will start with a half day tour of Udaipur. This will take you to the city palace which was once the home of Mewar’s rulers and is today a museum. Afterwards, visit Sahelion-ki-bari (Garden of the Maids of Honour) the scene for royal parties for centuries. Drive around Fateh Sagar Lake and visit the Jagdish temple. Afterwards you will have time for lunch.
At 17:30 you will take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Marvel at the glimmering lake, the mountains and the city against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset.
There is an optional visit to Jal Sanjhi & Puppet making workshop in Udaipur.
Overnight at Fateh Niwas Udaipur with breakfast included.
Our members can book a Jal Sanjhi water painting session or a puppet making session locally. These tours will take place before lunch on this day.
Day 9: Udaipur - Dalhi
After breakfast you eill be transferred to the airport in time for your 14:05 flight to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel, the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home.
Please note that the Red Fort in Delhi is closed on Mondays while the Taj Mahal in Agra is closed on Fridays
