Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, a Yatra representative will greet you as you leave the arrivals terminal. You'll then take a transfer to your first hotel on this immersive tour, ready to check-in.
Delhi, the capital of India, is a vibrant and historic city that blends ancient monuments like the Red Fort with modern infrastructure. It is a political, cultural, and economic hub, known for its diverse population, rich heritage, and bustling streets.
Time to rest and prepare for tomorrow's adventures – enjoying an overnight stay at your chosen hotel.
DAY 2: DELHI
After tucking into a delicious first breakfast at the hotel, you'll set off on a group tour of both Old and New Delhi.
You'll begin by visiting Old Delhi, starting with Raj Ghat – a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, surrounded by verdant gardens. Then, pass by the Red Fort and continue to the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, capable of accommodating an incredible 25,000 worshippers.
Next up, New Delhi! You'll visit the Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament and the official residence of the President of India. After an amazing day of sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 3: DELHI - MANDAWA
Start the day with a tasty, nutritious breakfast at the hotel before travelling to Mandawa, where you'll check in at your next hotel.
Come the afternoon, it'll be time to head out and discover Mandawa's magnificent havelis, built in typical Rajasthani style.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay back at your lovely hotel.
Day 4: Mandawa – Nagaur – Khejarla
After breakfast, drive to Khejarla – stopping along the way to visit Nagaur Fort.
Once you've arrived in Khejarla, check in at Hotel Fort Khejarla, a 400-year-old red sandstone monument and striking example of Rajput architecture.
Then, take some free time to explore or relax at your own pace before dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5: KHEJARLA - JODHPUR - KHEJARLA
After breakfast, venture out for a city tour of Jodhpur, including Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.
Return to Khejarla in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 6: KHEJARLA - PUSHKAR - JAIPUR
This morning after breakfast, you'll depart for Jaipur – stopping along the way in Pushkar. Here, visit the famous Brahma temple and the sacred lake of Pushkar.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, check-in at your next hotel before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 6: JAIPUR
A guided tour of Amber Fort awaits you after breakfast. Then, in the afternoon, visit the city of Jaipur, paying a visit to the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal and the Jantar Mantar observatory.
End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Jaipur - Ranthambhore
Fuel up for the day ahead with a delightful breakfast. You'll then travel to Ranthambhore which is renowned for its stunning national park, tigers and diverse wildlife, set against the backdrop of ancient forts and lush landscapes! Once you've arrived in Ranthambhore, check in at your hotel and look forward to an afternoon at your own leisure.
Then, make your way down to the hotel restaurant for dinner, followed by an overnight stay.
DAY 9: RANTHAMBHORE
Today's an exciting day! Spend the morning embarking on a safari adventure in Ranthambhore National Park, one of India's most famous wildlife reserves, known for its thriving population of Bengal tigers. The park features a blend of dense forests, picturesque lakes, and historic ruins, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience wildlife safaris alongside the ruins of Ranthambhore Fort.
After your morning safari trip, return to the hotel for breakfast.
In the afternoon, head back to Ranthambhore National Park for your second safari experience of the day, before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 10: RANTHAMBHORE - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA
After breakfast, begin your journey to Agra with a stopover to visit the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Once you've arrived in Agra, you'll check in at the hotel – enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 11: AGRA - DELHI
After breakfast, visit the Taj Mahal! This iconic white marble mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, symbolizing eternal love. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it is renowned for its stunning Mughal architecture, intricate craftsmanship, and beautifully landscaped gardens.
You'll also visit Agra Fort – another UNESCO World Heritage site found in the city. The red sandstone fort was built by Emperor Akbar and boasts stunning views of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts.
In the afternoon, return to Delhi and check into your next hotel where you'll have dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 12: DEPART FROM DELHI
You've had the most remarkable time in India – discovering world heritage sites, national parks and abandoned cities. You've stayed in wonderful, relaxing hotels and savoured the most delicious, authentic cuisine. Now, after breakfast, it's time to make your way to Delhi International Airport for your return flight home, carrying with you memories to last a lifetime!
