This Rajasthan tour will take you through the heart of India travelling to Delhi, Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra.

Your 9-Night Itinerary

Days 1 & 2: Delhi 
Arrival to Delhi’s Airport on day 1. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Take the rest of day 2 at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Highlights include Jamma Masjid, Shandni Showk, Raj Ghat (where Gandhi was incinerated), the Raj Path and the majestic Door of India. There is also Qtub Minar.

Day 3:  Delhi - Mandawa 
Take breakfast at the hotel then depart for Mandawa, known for it’s Havelis. Visit of some of these interesting areas in the old town, and then enjoy some free time to explore at your own leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4:  Mandawa - Jodhpur. 
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and depart by road to Jodhpur. Arrive and check in at the hotel. 

Stay in the heart of the desert a city - known as the Blue City - where the old town is surrounded by a wall and seven gates, which was erected around the middle of the sixteenth century.

Highlights include visiting the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, the Jaswant Thada and more! Overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Jodhpur - Jaipur.
After breakfast, head to the Pink City and the capital of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, walk through Jaipur’s Bazaar (market) or rest. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 6: Jaipur
After breakfast, depart to Amber where you take a jeep ride to get to the Fort. Visit all the Palace of the ancient capital of Rajasthan and its surroundings. In the afternoon, visit the Astronomy Centre and Royal Palace. You'll also see Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur - Agra
Via Fatehpur Sikri, our members head to Agra following breakfast at the hotel, where they will get to take in the beauty of the Taj Mahal the following day on day eight. This site one of the seven wonders of the world. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Agra - Delhi
Having visited the famous Taj Mahal and its surroundings on day eight, depart back to Delhi end end the day at leisure where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest or some shopping. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure
Breakfast and transfer to Delhi Airport. Check in your baggage and board your return flight to the UK.

Your 11-Night Itinerary

Days 1-4 are the same as the 9-night itinerary.

Day 5: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before heading to Udaipur - with a stop to Ranakpur to visit the Jains temples.

Day 6: Udaipur
After breakfast, your day will be dedicated to visiting Udaipur, with visits to the Eklingji and Nagda temples, the City Palace, the Maiden Garden and other fascinating sites.

Guests on this day may also get to enjoy a boat trip (non-private) on Lake Pichola depending on the water level. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Udaipur - Jaipur
After breakfast, head out to Jaipur - where you can enjoy a walk around the market as well as free time to relax or rest.

Day 8: Jaipur
Depart for the Amber Fort after breakfast. On arrival, you can take part in a ride to the Fort. Visit the Palace in the ancient capital of Rajasthan. After lunch, come back to Jaipur and visit the Astronomy Centre and Royal Palace. You will also get to visit the Hawa Mahal Palace. 

Days 9-11 are the same as days 7-10 on the 9-night itinerary.

Day 12: Departure
Breakfast and transfer to Delhi Airport. Check in your baggage and board your return flight to the UK.

Your 13-Night Itinerary

Days 1-3 are the same as the 9 and 11-night itineraries. 

Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner
Enjoy breakfast then and depart by road to Bikaner. Upon arrival, you will be taken on a ride around this picturesque place surrounded by harsh desert. 

The city is distinguished for the best riding camels in the world and hence boasts of having one of the largest Camel breeding farms in the world. Her, you can head on a city tour and make a visit to places including Junagarh Fort.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Enjoy breakfast - then depart for Jaisalmer. This sumptuous city, located at the gateway to the Thar desert, once controlled trade between India and Pakistan.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

After breakfast, explore this magical city and marvel at stunning buildings carved from stone and wood. In the afternoon, embark on a camel ride on the desert of Sam Sand.
Highlights here include a walk in the bazaar, Maharawal Palace, The Jain Temple and more.

Day 7: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast, head to the Blue City of Jodhpur. In the afternoon, visit the Maharaja Palace, the Mehrangarh museum and its fortress.

Breakfast and transfer to Delhi Airport. Check in your baggage and board your return flight to the UK

Entry Requirements 

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 

You’ll need to get a visa before travelling to India. You can find further information about how to apply on the Indian High Commission website.

India’s Bureau of Immigration has announced that with immediate effect, foreign nationals who arrive at an Indian port holding non-machine readable passports will be denied entry. 

To transit through India you will need a transit visa. You can find more information on the Indian Immigration Bureau website.

All applicants of Pakistani origin who hold dual British-Pakistan nationality must apply for an Indian visa on their Pakistan passport. Those who have either renounced Pakistani nationality or cancelled their Pakistani passport would need to submit documentary proof of this.

You can take medicines into India as long as you carry the prescription with you. Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances are prohibited. Mosquito-borne diseases like Dengue Fever occur all year round. There’s been an increase in the number of cases of dengue fever, including in New Delhi.


UK health authorities have classified India as having a risk of Zika virus transmission. For information and advice about the risks associated with Zika virus, visit the National Travel Health Network and Centre website.


Cases of Chikungunya Virus have been confirmed in India, including in New Delhi. You should take steps to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.
