Arrive at Mumbai International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, a Yatra Exotic Routes representative will meet you as you exit the terminal building. After that you will be transferred to your hotel. Bombay, or Mumbai, is the capital of Maharashtra and the economic powerhouse of India. It’s the fastest moving, most affluent and the most industrialized city in India. Yet, once upon a time, Bombay was nothing more than a group of low-lying, swampy and malarial mud flats presented to the British by its Portuguese occupiers as a wedding gift in 1661. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast will be at the hotel & later proceed for Mumbai. You will be free to explore the city,
Option: enjoy a guided tour of Mumbai. See description.
In time transfer to the airport to board the flight for Udaipur, known as the city of lakes and one of the important cities of Rajasthan. Possibly no city in Rajasthan is quite as romantic as Udaipur, even though the state is replete the fantastic hilltop fortresses, exotic fairy tale palaces and gripping legends of medieval chivalry and heroism. Udaipur has been called the Venice of East founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh following the final sacking of Chittorgarh by the Mughal emperor. Overnight at hotel.

The city palace extends a considerable distance along the east bank of the lake. From the boat, you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. One would get an interesting view of the Dhobi (laundry) ghats. Also, visit the Jag Mandir Palace – a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. After sightseeing return to the hotel, evening free for leisure activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast will be at the hotel. Morning in time: transfer to the airport to board the flight for Jaipur. Jaipur’ past is never too far from hand. The city of victory, Jaipur presides over the fascinating desert state and its people: surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort; and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts. The palaces and forts of yesteryear that were witness to royal processions and splendour are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the “pink city”. Except for the busy traffic of bicycles, cars and buses, little seems to have changed. There is a timeless quality to Jaipur’ bazaars and its people. With its historical past, Jaipur revives legends of the ancient Rajput’s. The dresses of the women and the turbans of the men add colour to this fascinating city. Arrive & check in to the hotel. Time free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Agra and Fatehpur Sikri visit with Guide + Entrances

Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city, built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It was abandoned soon after it was built when the local wells went dry and it remains today in much the same condition that it was over 300 years ago. It is complete with palaces and mosques and used to be a town larger than London when it was originally constructed. Now it is an extraordinary place to wander around with its buildings in near perfect condition.
After Fatehpur Sikri visit, continue the drive to Agra. The construction of the Agra Fort was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Its massive walls stretch for 2½ km and are surrounded by a moat over 10 metres wide. The fort is really a city within a city, which embraces the Moti Masjid, the Diwan-i-Am or the Hall of Public Audiences, the Diwan-i-Khas or the Hall of Private Audiences, the Octagonal Tower, Jehangir’s Palace and many more monuments. Of its four gates, the most impressive is the Delhi Gate on the west.
