This Golden Triangle Tour will take you through the heart of India travelling to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, taking in sights such as the Taj Mahal and the bustling bazaars of Jaipur.

Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai
Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the hotel, check-in is at 2pm and the rest of the day will be free to explore the city at your leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to Mumbai's domestic airport for you 10am flight to Delhi. You will arrive at 12:15 where you will be met by your driver and transferred to the hotel, check-in is at 2pm and the rest of the day will be free to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 3: Delhi
After breakfast you will be taken on a city tour of Old & New Delhi which will take you past the magnificent Red Fort on your way to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Afterwards you will be driven past Kotla Firoze Shah, some impressive ruins of a 14th century fort, then visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
The afternoon will be devoted to New Delhi, you will drive past the Presidential Palace, The Rashtrapati, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch & the India Gate. End the day with a visit the Qutub Minar, the 72 metre high Minaret.

Today you will be transferred to your hotel in Agra where you can check-in. Afterwards, visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to emperors until the 1600s. Behind its forbidding red sandstone battlements lie a palace that tell the story of the Moghul Empire.

Day 5: Agra
Today you will be taken on a city of Agra, including a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, this ivory-marble structure is a monument that was 22 years in the making, built to immortalise the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan's beloved wife.

Depart by road for Jaipur & visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings, including the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti which enshrines the burial place of the Sufi saint who lived a religious life here. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site.
Upon arrival in Jaipur you will be taken to your hotel to check-in.

Day 7: Jaipur
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Amber Fort, a honey-coloured fortress-Palace just 7 miles north of Jaipur in the Aravalli Hills which is known as 'the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan'. Prominent structures inside the fort are the Diwan-i-Aam, adorned with latticed galleries, the Ganesh Pol, with a beautiful painted image of Lord Ganesh, and the stunning Sheesh Mahal, a hall decorated with thousands of tiny mirrors.
Proceed on a tour of Jaipur in the afternoon, with starts with a stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” This beautiful façade with its ornately carved latticework windows was designed so the ladies of the palace could look out onto the streets unobserved. Later you will visit the City Palace…again, a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The museums here showcase rare and ancient manuscripts, arms dating back to the 15th century, and costumes of erstwhile royalty. You'll also visit Jai Singh's Observatory, comprising geometric devices for measuring time, and tracking stars in their orbits.

Day 8: Jaipur - Mumbai (approx. travel time: 6hrs / 265km)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jaipur Airport in time for you flight to Mumbai, departing just before 2pm. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the hotel and the rest of the day will be free to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 9: Departure for the UK
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
Please note: Red Fort is closed every Monday, Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

After breakfast, depart by road for Jaipur Airport in time for your flight to Goa, where you ill be transferred to your hotel (approx. travel time: 25min / 15km). The rest of the day is at leisure.
