With the Arabian Sea in the west, the Western Ghats towering 500-2700m in the east and networked by 44 rivers, Kerala enjoys unique geographical features that have made it one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Asia.

Enjoy an equable climate, a long shoreline with serene beaches, tranquil stretches of emerald backwaters, lush hill stations, exotic wildlife, waterfalls, sprawling plantations, paddy fields, enchanting art forms, magical festivals, historic monuments and an exotic cuisine - all of which offer you a unique experience.

Your Itinerary —

Day 1: Cochin
Arrival into Cochin. Meet at the arrival lounge of Cochin international airport and transfer to hotel.
 
Day 2: Cochin
Visit the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, see Chinese fishing nets, walk through Fort Cochin area, make a visit to broadway (the local market) and enjoy a show at Greenix Theatre. 
Day 3: Cochin to Munnar
Morning free at leisure. Later drive to Munnar, making photo stops en-route.
 
Day 4: Munnar
Visit the scenic points in Munnar. Walk through tea gardens and explore the natural beauty of the region. There is an option of taking a jeep safari if you wish!
Day 5: Munnar to Periyar
Drive to Periyar. In the afternoon visit the spice market at Kumily. In the evening you will witness a Kalaripayattu martial art show.
 
Day 6: Periyar to Kumarakom
Early morning boat ride on Lake Periyar. Take an elephant joy ride. Drive to Kumarakom where you may choose from lovely activities such as an Ayurvedic massage, village walk, rowing a country boat through the backwater canals or a visit to a coir making unit.
Day 7: Kumarakom
At 9 AM, proceed to local jetty to board houseboat cruise. Sail through backwaters. Lunch on board. Today you have an option of taking canoe boats and visiting the smaller channels in order to observe local life in the backwater region. Tea and coffee will be served onboard. Disembark from houseboat and overnight at hotel.
 
Day 8: Kumarakom to Mararikulam
Drive to Mararikulam. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
 
Day 9-10: Mararikulam
Days free at leisure.
 
Day 11: Depart

Spend 2 nights at The Holiday Inn (Cochin) in a Guest Room. Located in the cosmopolitan city of Cochin, known as the commercial capital of Kerala. Holiday Inn Cochin has 212 spacious rooms which each feature ergonomic chair, high-speed wi-fi, iPod docking station, tea/coffee maker and in-room safe. There is a wide variety of dining options available, with five food and beverage outlets. Masala, the full service buffet restaurant, serves a sumptuous spread of international, Indian and local Kerala cuisine.
Spend 2 nights at The Tall Trees (Munnar) in a Standard Cottage. Spreading over 66 acres of tree plantation, The Tall Trees Hotel provides well-appointed cottages and a spa. It is an excellent choice for enjoying the outdoors with activities like trekking. Cottages at the stunning property are surrounded by greenery - they have private balconies, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. Hill Spice Restaurant serves delicious international dishes.
Spend 1 night at the Poetree Resort (Periyar) in a Club Room. Located at a unique vantage point on top of a hill and embraced by acres of untouched land and forest, Poetree was built on principles of sustainability, eco­-friendliness and being at one with nature. Your room is designed with relaxing tones, elegant furnishings and every amenity you could wish for. Guests can sample delicious cuisine at the restaurant or enjoy fantastic panoramic views from the open rooftop terrace dining area.
Spend 2 nights at the Eastend Lake Song Hotel (Kumarakom) in a Punnamada Room. Featuring traditional Kerala architecture and décor, the lovely Lakesong Resort sits next to Vembanadu Lake in Kumarakom. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and air-conditioned rooms with a cable TV. Guests can enjoy a relaxing massage or work out in the well-equipped fitness centre. The restaurant here serves a variety of local, European and Chinese dishes, which can be enjoyed inside our outdoors.
Spend 3 nights at Abad Turtle Beach Resort (Mararikulam)  in a Beach Cottage. Overlooking the white sands of Marari Beach, Abad Turtle Beach Resort features a sun deck and infinity pool surrounded by tropical trees. The spacious air-conditioned rooms include a private patio for your enjoyment. The open-air restaurant serves Indian and continental cuisine, alongside a delicious daily breakfast buffet. Cottage rooms have elegant decor and all necessary modern amenities for a comfortable stay.

Your Journey —

Flights: Choose between economy or business class flights. The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: private transfers are included as per itinerary.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
