Day 1 & 2
Day 1: Budapest
- Arrival in Budapest.
- Transfer from the airport to the hotel.
- Check-in at your 4-star hotel in the city centre.
- Free time.
- In the evening, you can enjoy a wine-pairing dinner with Hungarian wines in a wine bar.
Day 2: Hollókő & Eger
- Departure from Budapest at 8.30 am.
- After an hour and a half drive, we arrive in the beautiful little village of Hollókő.
- Hollókő, as well as being a welcoming village, is a symbol of Hungarian traditions and is part of the UNESCO heritage. It is one of the last places where traditions are preserved and shared with visitors. You'll be treated to a walk around the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the old village of Hollókő and a visit to the museum.
- The tour includes a visit to the little church with its wooden bell tower, the symbol of the village.
- Lunch lunch will be served in an old, traditional restaurant.
- Transfer to Eger, the charming Baroque town and birthplace of the "Egri Bikavér" red wine.
- First, explore Eger in a wine cellar and sample the local varieties.
- After checking into your hotel, you'll have time to explore the beautiful and historic city of Eger and dine at your leisure in one of the city's best wine restaurants.
Day 3 & 4
Day 3: Tokaj Wine Region
- Transfer to the Tokay wine region.
- Start your day with a visit to the Mád Synagogue, built in 1795, and discover the region's Jewish heritage.
- A half-hour drive will take you to one of Hungary's most astonishing wine cellars: there are almost 300 ancient cellars in the village of Hercegkút waiting to be explored.
- Take a short walk up the hill, followed by a cellar tour and a wine and charcuterie tasting at a small family-run producer in a very traditional old cellar.
- In the afternoon, visit one of the region's most emblematic cellars and taste the "Wine of Kings / King of Wines", the famous dessert wine, Tokaj Aszú.
- Wine dinner in a wine bar, cellar or restaurant belonging to a winery.
Day 4: Tokaj Wine Region
- Departure for Bodrogkeresztúr.
- Visit the vinegar factory with tasting.
- The Tokaji Wine Vinegar House produces wine vinegar from top-quality Tokaj grapes and fruit, using natural methods and no additives, making the product an essential part of Hungarian haute cuisine.
- Short visit to the town of Tokaj, the centre of the wine-growing region.
- 3-course lunch in a restaurant belonging to a winery.
- Transfer to the airport (approx. 3 hours).
- Arrival around 17:00-18:00.

Guided Tour of Budapest and Parliament
The tour will start on the Chain Bridge which is a 360-metre suspension bridge over the Danube River. You will then head to the Buda Castle district to explore the Fishermen's Bastion and the Matthias Church.
The tour will continue with a visit to Mount Gellert and its citadel, where you will enjoy a breath-taking view of the entire city.
You will then stroll through a large covered market and admire the Great Synagogue, before going to the City Park which is the largest park in Budapest and home to many attractions.
After passing by the Budapest Opera House and the Basilica of St. Stephen in Pest, you will have a guided tour of the Parliament buildings, and learn about the building’s history and secrets.
Cruise on the Danube (1 drink included)
Climb aboard and set off on a one-and-a-half-hour river trip to discover Budapest. Admire the city's most beautiful monuments from the deck of the boat and learn more about this fascinating city from the audioguide. See the Hungarian Parliament, Széchenyi Bridge, the Royal Palace, the Gellert Baths, the Citadel, Gresham Palace and many more!
Enjoy a complimentary hot or cold drink during the cruise before returning to your point of departure.
