Your Destination —

Punta Cana is famous the world over for its gorgeous beaches and luxurious hotels, but for visitors who want to see more of the Dominican Republic than sun, sea and sand, head inland to the town of Higüey. This is the capital of the province and where the basilica in honour of Our Lady of Altagracia, patroness of the Dominican people, is located. Also close to Punta Cana is Manatí Park - a delightful park which is 81 square miles of tropical birds, reptiles and other animals. 

In Punta Cana itself, the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park has more than 500 species of exotic plants on trails that snake along 11 natural lagoons. It is open to the public from 08:00 to 16:00 and guided tours are offered.

Whala! Bavaro 4* —

Discover the à la carte restaurant, Sueno, for your dinners. You will have the choice between typical Mediterranean dishes or Dominican specialities in a Caribbean atmosphere. If you fancy a cocktail, you can choose from the three bars in the hotel.

Your Time

Between water sports, sports or relaxation on a deckchair there will be something for everyone. For a moment of relaxation, hang out at the edge of one of the five magnificent swimming pools or simply bask in the sun on the beach. Finally, take a stroll on the long white sand beach that borders the Whala Hotel! to admire the turquoise horizon as far as the eye can see.

Set sail heading for the discovery of amazing, white sandy beaches, coconut palm trees, stop at an incredible sandbar in the middle of the ocean, famous for its abundance of starfish, crystal clear turquoise waters and the special Dominican touch that makes for an unforgettable day of smiles, rum, and merengue!
Santo Domingo City Tour
Immerse yourself into and explore the first city of the  New World, Santo Domingo,  on this full-day historic and cultural experience! Follow the footsteps of the discoverers on a day trip filled with history. Visit the main sites of Santo  Domingo's Colonial zone like Colon's (Christopher  Columbus’) Old House or Las Casas Reales, formerly used as the Parliament. You will also visit historic sites such as the first cathedral in America and the Columbus  Lighthouse. Walk on the oldest cobblestone street of the continent,  "Calle de las Damas", and many other interesting locations of Santo Domingo's modern area. Continuing with the journey, visit the amazing natural monument, Los  Tres Ojos, the name given to a 50-foot open-air limestone cave located in the Mirador del Este Park, where you will find different evidence of pre-Columbian cultures that lived in the caves. This tour is a must for people who love history, culture and natural wonders.
Zip Line
Eco Adventure is an adventurous ecological tour, featuring panoramic views of all Cap Cana. Be prepared to swing in the trees from one platform to the next. There are over 8 lines ranging from 98 yards in length to 765 yards for a total of 1.3 miles.  There are also 12 wooden platforms in the treetops and a 40-foot tower which gives you the perfect viewing point above the jungle canopy and across the Dominican skyline for the perfect pictures.
