Day 1: Arrival / San José (Airport - San José 45 minutes)
Welcome to Costa Rica !Meet our English speaking representative at the airport. Then transfer to your hotel located in downtown San José, our capital city. Receive your documentation of travel and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 2: San José – Puerto Viejo (5h en route)
Breakfast at the hotel.The car rental agent will meet you at the hotel to give you your rental car. Continue to Puerto Viejo. Puerto Viejo is a town located in the province of Limón, on the coast of the Caribbean Sea. The coral reefs of the Caribbean coast are known for the wide variety of aquatic animals that live in the beautiful crystal clear waters.

Day 5: Arenal
Breakfast at the hotel. This is a free day to enjoy your lodge or take part in an optional excursion.
Our suggestions for visits:

At the end of the day, you will head to the thermal baths of Baldi: relax and dine in this family complex offering 25 pools of warm or temperate mineralized water and pure (4 of them are at room temperature), a large natural sauna and spa for jacuzzi-type use, three minibars, two gourmet restaurants, 3.5 kilometers of paths and 3.4 acres of quaint tropical gardens.

Continue to the Monteverde Biological Reserve, in the Tilaran Range, between the Central Valley and Guanacaste. It is one of the largest rainforest nature reserves in the country. It protects amphibians unique in the world, 400 species of birds including the mythical Quetzal resplendent, many species of butterflies and 2500 varieties of plants.

Breakfast at the lodge.Continue to Guanacaste province with a cowboy atmosphere and a radical change of scenery. You will have to change back the rented car at the border to continue your trip in Costa Rica. The road will end on a track that joins the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park.Afternoon free to enjoy the lodge or make an optional excursion in the area.

- Walks from 2h to 4h walk depending on the level of walking to discover the dry tropical forest, its gigantic trees and mud pots (attention: park closed Mondays)

Morning drive towards the Guanacaste Peninsula. You will pass through Liberia, as well as Nicoya, to finally arrive at the seaside resort of Sámara / Carrillo. Check in at the hotel.
Afternoon free to enjoy the lodge and the beach nearby.
