DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SAN JOSÉ
Arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), where you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel in San José. Settle in and take time to unwind after your journey, easing into the atmosphere of Costa Rica’s capital.

Depart early from San José and travel towards Tortuguero, stopping en route in Guápiles for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast. Continue by boat through the canals, surrounded by dense rainforest. In the afternoon, visit Tortuguero Village with a local guide and discover its Caribbean character.

Tortuguero
