Your Central American tour will start in San Jose, Costa Rica. With 30 national parks and ecological reserves, 11 active volcanoes, meandering rivers and jaw-dropping waterfalls, Costa Rica is truly a natural paradise. In fact, 27% of this country is classified as a nature reserve.
This tour will take you to Bocas del Toro, a mervelous tropical jewel nestled in the Caribbean Sea in Panama's Northeast region. Composed of 9 main islands, 200 islets, a marine park of 1300 hectares, and 52 sandbanks, this is a Caribbean paradise.
You will return to Costa Rica and pick up your rental car to explore Puerto Viejo, Arenal, and finally Manuel Atonio. Jungle treks, hot water pools, majestic volcanoes, and relaxing beaches await.. you will be left breathless by the beauty of Central America!
Your Itinerary 10 Nights —
Welcome to Costa Rica! Meet your English speaking representative at the airport. Transfer to your hotel located in downtown San José, the capital city of Costa Rica. Receive your documentation of travel and enjoy overnight accommodation at your hotel.
Overnight in San José.
Day 2: San José – Bocas del Toro (6h en route)
Breakfast at the lodge. Shared transfer to Puerto Viejo de Limon on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing to Bocas del Toro, passing through the border at Sixaola, which divides Costa Rica and Panamá. After paying the local taxes to depart Costa Rica and enter Panama, you will continue to Almirante town where you will take a boat. This boat will finally leave you in Bocas del Toro

Breakfast at the lodge. This is a free day for you to enjoy your lodge or embark on an optional excursion in the region.

Day 4: Bocas del Toro – Puerto Viejo (3h en route)
Breakfast at the lodge.Continue by boat to the city of Almirante to take the shared transfer to the border of Sixaola and then to Püerto Viejo de Limon where you will take the rental car. You must also pay Panama's exit taxes. The coral reefs of the Caribbean coast are known for the wide variety of aquatic animals that live in the beautiful crystal clear waters.

Day 6: Puerto Viejo (South Caribbean) - Arenal (4h30 en route)
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue to the north of the country to reach La Fortuna, a town at the foot of the Arenal volcano. Check-in to your hotel.

Day 7: Arenal
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the lodge or embark on an optional excursion in the region.At the end of the day, you will head to the thermal baths of Baldi: Relax and dine in this family complex offering 25 pools of warm or temperate mineralised water, a large natural sauna, spa, three minibars, two gourmet restaurants, 3.5 kilometers of paths, and 3.4 acres of quaint tropical gardens.
Suggested Visits: Arenal Volcano National Park (park closed on Mondays), Walk on suspension bridges, Fortuna River Waterfall.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Manuel Antonio beach. This National Park is one of Costa Rica's most famous, thanks to its easy access and diversity of ecosystems.

Day 10: Manuel Antonio – San José (3h en route)
Breakfast at the lodge. Free morning to enjoy the hotel, the beach, or to explore the region or make an excursion in the area. Then continue to San José city for your last night in Costa Rica. Drop off the vehicle at the hotel lobby at 17:00 hrs.

Discover Costa Rica at your own pace with our car hire. Our members will enjoy a Suzuki Gran Vitara car rental for 2/3 people to 4 people (free upgrade from Daihatsu Bego to Suzuki Gran Vitara for 2/3 people).
For 10 Nights - collect your vehicle on Day 4 at 11:00 and return on Day 10 at 17:00.
For 12 Nights - collect your vehicle on Day 5 at 11:00 and retun at 17:00.
You will also enjoy GPS, basic insurance, and a rechargeable phone card. You are able to opt for total insurance at the next stage of the booking for an additional fee.
