Your Optional Excursions —
Arenal - Celestial River and Hike to Tenorio Volcano

One of the most incredible places to visit in Costa Rica, the magnificent turquoise waters and surrounding nature create a landscape to be admired. It begins with a hike along a 7-kilometre trail that takes you through the forest, past the magical waterfall, the blue lagoon, the viewpoint of the Tenorio volcano and the surrounding hills.
Two of the most interesting sites are "Las Ollas", mud-filled fumaroles, and "Los Teñideros", the place where the river acquires its characteristic colour. On the way back, you'll walk along the banks of the river, admiring its bubbling waters and magnificent natural surroundings.
The tour ends with a delicious lunch.
Arenal - Arenal Volcano National Park + Boat

Enjoy a short boat ride from the dam on Lake Arenal to the entrance of "La Peninsula", a trail that takes you through the forest of the brand-new national park, where you'll enjoy incredible views and fantastic vantage points. This trail is ideal for bird watching and photography.
Arenal - Horse Ride to La Fortuna Waterfalls

This horse ride takes around 4 hours and starts at the foot of the mountain, passing through magnificent forest scenery, where you will enjoy breathtaking views and the chance to spot a few birds. Then you'll have to walk 500 metres through the forest to reach the waterfall, which is 70 metres high. At the foot of the waterfall, there is a "natural pool" where you can take a dip in the cool water.
