10-Night Road Trip
Day 1: Arrival at San José Airport (30 minutes)
Welcome to Costa Rica!
Our local representative will meet you at the airport and assist you. Transfer from Juan Santamaria International Airport to your hotel in San José. Check in, make yourself comfortable in your hotel room and relax.
Overnight stay in San José.
Day 2: San José - Arenal (3h30)
Breakfast included at the hotel.
At the appointed time, meet the car rental representative at the hotel reception to collect your car and all necessary information. It's time to start your adventure on the road.
Drive on your own to your next destination: La Fortuna de San Carlos, home of the beautiful Arenal Volcano. Until December 2010, Arenal Volcano was one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world and a truly majestic sight, spewing molten rock and ash from its summit daily. Nowadays, there are no more lava eruptions, but you can still see smoke and ash rising from the top of the volcano.
Upon arrival, make yourself comfortable in your hotel room and relax. Enjoy the hotel's facilities and therapeutic hot springs.

Day 3: Arenal
