Day 1 & 2
Day 1 - San José
Welcome to Costa Rica! Our local representative will meet and assist you at the airport.
Enjoy an included transfer from Juan Santamaría International Airport to your hotel in San José. Check-in, get comfortable in your hotel room, and relax!
Overnight in San José
Day 2 - San José - Arenal (3h on route) (Breakfast)
Breakfast is included at the hotel. At the agreed time, meet at the hotel reception with the Car Rental Representative to get your car and all the necessary information.
Now, is the time to start your road trip adventure! Self-drive to your next destination: La Fortuna de San Carlos, home of the wonderful Arenal Volcano. Prior to December 2010, the Arenal Volcano was one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world, and it was a truly majestic sight, as it spewed molten rocks and ash from its summit daily.
Today there are no lava eruptions, for now, but you can still see smoke/ash spew out of the top of the volcano. Upon arrival, get comfortable in your hotel room and relax! Enjoy the facilities and the therapeutic hot springs of the hotel.

Day 3, 4 & 5
Day 3 & 4 - Arenal (Breakfast)
Breakfast is included at the hotel. Today, be ready for a new adventure. At the agreed time, visit Mistico Park and discover the beautiful hanging bridges. This is a great combination of suspension bridges and platforms built in the forest that offers you an opportunity to explore nature in a safe and easy manner. You will enjoy a guided walk through the fascinating and colorful tropical rainforest.

Day 5 - Arenal, La Fortuna & Monteverde (3h on route) (Breakfast)
Breakfast is included at the hotel. At a convenient time, check out and self-drive to your next destination: Monteverde. This is a unique destination that will captivate you. Here you can always enjoy green landscapes and a mist where it will seem that you are touching the clouds with your hands. Monteverde is known for its wide biodiversity since it is in the high mountains of the province of Puntarenas. This destination has been hailed as one of the world's outstanding wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 6 & 7
Day 6 - Monteverde (Breakfast)
Breakfast is included at the hotel. Leisure day to discover the many natural wonders of Monteverde.
