Day 1: Arrival in San José
- Upon landing at the Juan Santamaría International Airport, our local representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in San José.
- Settle in, unwind in the comfort of your room, and take this time to relax before your adventure begins.

DAY 2: SAN JOSE → TORTUGUERO
Tortuguero, one of Costa Rica’s most celebrated ecotourism destinations, was established in 1970 to protect endangered sea turtles. Its network of canals, rivers, and lagoons offers a living laboratory of rainforest, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. Tortuguero National Park is truly unique, a paradise where research and ecotourism come together in harmony.
- Early in the morning, check out from the hotel and meet at the reception at the agreed time for a semi-collective transfer to the wonderful area of Tortuguero in the North Caribbean.
- En route, stop in the city of Guápiles for a Costa Rican breakfast in a local restaurant.
- Continue to the pier where you will board the boat to Tortuguero.
- Cruise through the canals and marvel at the lush landscapes in every shade of green, a perfect introduction to the heart of the rainforest.
- Arrive at the lodge, check in and enjoy a tasty lunch.
- In the afternoon, meet your guide to visit the enchanting Tortuguero Village. This town has a small population of around 500 people, no cars, and is located on a relatively narrow spit of land between the beach and a canal.
- Get up close with Caribbean culture and discover its vibrant people and way of life as you wander through this colourful town.

DAY 3: TORTUGUERO
- After breakfast, join the guide at the agreed time for a naturalist walk along the private trails of the lodge and discover the flora and fauna that live in this magical place.
- In the afternoon, after lunch, enjoy nature in its entire splendour by touring the canals of Tortuguero National Park by boat and taking your best photos in the jungle.
- Discover its network of canals, lagoons and dense rainforests through an early boat tour guided by an expert naturalist guide.
- Abundant wildlife inhabits Tortuguero, including 57 species of amphibians, 111 species of reptiles, and 60 species of mammals.
- Return to the lodge to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 4: Tortuguero → Arenal
Nestled in the heart of northern Costa Rica, the town of Arenal is a gateway to adventure and natural wonders, crowned by the majestic Arenal Volcano. Before December 2010, it ranked among the world’s ten most active volcanoes, a breathtaking spectacle as molten lava and ash erupted daily from its summit. Today, while lava no longer flows, the volcano still exhales occasional smoke and ash, offering visitors a glimpse of its raw, untamed power against the backdrop of lush rainforest.
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge before checking out to continue your journey.
- Enjoy a shared boat transfer to the restaurant located in Guápiles, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch.
- Afterwards, continue your journey in a shuttle transfer to your next destination: La Fortuna de San Carlos, home to the stunning Arenal Volcano.

DAY 5: ARENAL
- Today, set off on a sloth tour and enjoy one of the most exciting adventures in the Arenal area.
