DAY 2: SAN JOSÉ → TORTUGUERO
Your journey begins at dawn as you travel toward Tortuguero, one of Costa Rica’s most fascinating wildlife regions. After a stop in Guápiles for breakfast, continue to the pier and board a boat that navigates through rainforest canals, offering an early glimpse of the area’s lush biodiversity.
On arrival at your lodge, enjoy lunch before joining your guide for a visit to Tortuguero Village, a colourful community set between the waterways and the Caribbean Sea.
