Day 1 - Arrival in Toronto
Arrive at Toronto’s International Airport where you are met by your private car for your transfer to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Canada’s commercial and cultural centre. Overnight in Toronto.
Take the day to independently discover the many identities of this cosmopolitan centre. Some of the city’s highlights include the provincial Parliament Buildings, City Hall, the financial district, Chinatown, residential areas and the waterfront. Included in your package is admission to the CN Tower - standing 335.33 metres tall and crowned by a rotating restaurant. Ride the glass-fronted elevators to the top and take in unforgettable views of Toronto and Lake Ontario. Overnight in Toronto.
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls. The route takes you through the lush fruit growing district and wine region of the Niagara Peninsula. Marvel at the spectacle of the famous Niagara Falls and take an incredible walk behind the falls as the water thunders above you. You will have ample time to take pictures and admire the spectacle of the falls or stroll into town. Highlights include a meal and a trip along the beautiful Niagara Parkway, which winds its way along the Niagara Gorge. This morning, transfer independently to Union Station to board VIA Rail’s The Corridor train to Ottawa. You will be passing quaint little towns along Lake Ontario, the historic city of Kingston and the Thousand Islands region. As of Brockville, you’ll be travelling straight north into the direction of the capital region. Upon arrival in Ottawa, the remainder of the day is free to explore the charms of Canada’s capital city. Take a stroll along the famous Rideau Canal (designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site) or discover what the bustling Byward Market has to offer. Overnight in Ottawa.
The day is free at leisure to independently explore Canada’s capital city! Highlights include the Parliament Buildings, Embassy Row, the Royal Canadian Mint, the National Gallery of Canada, the National Aviation Museum, the residence of the Prime Minister and Governor-General, the RCMP Museum and Stables, the National Arts Centre and the scenic gardens and parklands and along the Rideau Canal. Hop on the train today for a short ride to Montreal. After crossing the heart of Quebec and traversing the Ottawa River, you’ll be travelling along the northern shore of the St. Lawrence River. Upon reaching the bustling metropolis of Montreal, check into your hotel and perhaps sample the fine cuisine and exuberant nightlife! Overnight in Montreal.
Today, you will be visiting the fascinating Grevin Museum. Explore a world of realistic art, as you come face to face with more than 120 historical and headline-making personalities, in scientific, political, historical and sports-related environments.
