Your Destinations

If you want to see some of Eastern Canada's best cities and experience the different urban scenes in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, then this is the itinerary for you. VIA Rail’s train system connects Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, revealing Canada’s most populous region while travelling comfortably in VIA Rail’s modern rail cars. Multicultural Toronto including world-famous Niagara Falls, the numerous museums and public buildings of Ottawa, and bustling Montreal with its modern French-Canadian lifestyle provided something for every traveller!

Toronto

Toronto is Canada's largest city with more restaurants and live theatres than anywhere else in the country. From the famous CN Tower, to the Harbourfront Centre with its lakeside shopping and dining, to the new fashionable Distillery District, Toronto is deservedly the most popular gateway to Canada.

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is one of the natural wonders of the world and also one of Canada's most popular attractions bringing in visitors by the thousands. Niagara is also much more than just the spectacular falls, the region is home to wineries, historic museums, 40 golf courses, thrilling jet-boat & helicopter rides, casinos and amazing shopping.

Ottawa

As Canada's capital, venture to the east of southern Ontario and discover Ottawa. This dynamic city offers its visitors a chance to explore the proud heritage of this country at many of its impressive national sites and famous landmarks. Visit Parliament Hill boasting grand Victorian architecture or follow Rideau Canal, where you may be able to ice skate or go boating down the water, dependant on the season. Then explore the city and its various museums including the National Gallery of Canada and Canadian Museum of History.

Montreal

Known for its festivals, arts, music, and cuisine, Montreal is a cultural haven perfectly blending North American hospitality with European Cosmopolitanism. Cobblestone streets are doted with taverns, restaurants, and cafes, and history buffs may seek refuge in the Musée d’Archéologie et d’Histoire Pointe-à-Callière.
