In its 11th year, the 2019 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be the Middle East's standout sporting event of the year and has fast established itself as one of the most spectacular races on the F1 calendar. Hosted at Yas Marina Circuit since its inauguration in 2009, the race has rapidly grown in popularity to become one of the most anticipated annual racing events.

This grandstand you will enjoy an arena atmosphere at the hairpin. You will see the cars coming from a long straight, the hairpin and two additional corners in front of the stand. A video wall can be seen. There is a wide range of vendors around the circuit for all tastes.

Your ticket will give you access to an allocated seat for your exclusive use throughout the Grand Prix weekend.

Entry Requirements 

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 

If you’re a British Citizen you can get a visitor’s visa on arrival in the UAE. In the past, this visa has allowed the visitor to stay in the UAE for up to 30 days. The visa has terminated automatically on departure and a new visa issued on arrival each time the same visitor returns to the UAE. 

That approach continues to be applied in most cases, but in some cases, British citizens (and visitors of some other nationalities) who have left the UAE and returned again within the 30 day period of stay granted at the time of the first arrival, haven’t received a new visa. Instead, their stay has been limited to the initial 30 day period.

Local Laws and Customs

UAE laws and customs are very different to those in the UK. Health 

Visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip to check whether you need any vaccinations or other preventive measures. 

Certain prescribed and over the counter medicines that are available in the UK but not in the UAE may not be able to be brought into the country without prior permission from the UAE Ministry of Health.

Following changes in October 2018, it is now a requirement for everyone entering the UAE to complete an electronic form to obtain approval to carry medication for personal use.
