Hanoi
Worldwide famous as a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and verdant public parks, Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is different things to different people. The city is a perfect blend of the exotic chic of old Asia and the dynamic face of new Asia, of Parisian grace and Asian pace. Hanoi is where imagination becomes reality.
Hoi An
Perhaps more than any other place in Vietnam, Hoi An retains a sense of charm and history that have largely escaped the destruction of successive wars. The town, once a riverside village, is now a tourist town packed with hotels, restaurants, bars, tailors and souvenir shops. There is nothing like wandering about the town on a full moon night of every month when motorbikes are banned from the Old Town, which is transformed into a magical land of silk lanterns, traditional food, song and dance, and games in the streets.
Although this country’s forth largest city is normally neglected by a majority of foreign travelers in favor of Hue and Hoi An, Da Nang has considerable colors and charm at its own right. The city is the combination of the buzz of a bigger city with beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Tree-lined boulevards, bridges and beachside resorts are now pulling more and more attention of travelers near and far.
Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam's undisputedly commercial headquarters with a keen sense of its own importance as Vietnam emerges from years of austerity to claim a place in the "Asian Tiger" economic slugfest. Located on the Saigon River, Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon as it is still called by all, is Vietnam's major port and largest city, and still survives in wide downtown avenues flanked by pristine colonials. Thousands of expatriates and Vietnamese immigrants couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. They’ve long since fallen prey to the hidden charms of one of Southeast Asia’s most hectic and eclectic cities.
Phan Tiet
Traditionally known for its fish sauce and now regarded as one of the best laid-back getaways in Vietnam, the town of Phan Thiet itself is a bustling little port, picturesque and good for a day's visit. You'll want to get out to the long, sprawling, sandy stretch of Mui Ne beach to the east which is a popular weekend getaway from nearby Saigon hosting some very nice upscale resorts and comfy little boutique bungalow properties.

Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival - First Hanoi Impression
Upon arrival at Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi, welcomed by guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center to check in (Hotel early check-in is included with breakfast). Relax after a long journey.
In the afternoon, take a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn about legend of the lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple, followed by the Water Puppet show - a uniquely Northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes from rural life and episodes of national history. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Highlights of Hanoi (B)
This morning you'll take a guided tour of all the Hanoi highlights. Begin by visiting Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum before exploring his house on stilts. A short walk from the mausoleum is one of the great symbols of Hanoi, the One Pillar Pagoda, an 11th-century wooden temple built on a single stone pillar in the water. It was designed to resemble a blooming lotus. Continue with a visit to Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university which was constructed in 11th century.
Be free in the afternoon for shopping or explore Hanoi by yourself. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will depart by road to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the rich farmlands of the Delta of Red river and the landscape of rice fields, water buffalo, the daily life of the Vietnamese village. Arrive in Halong and board to board a traditional junk. Lunch on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting the Surprising Cave. Later on the junk move to docking area for ovenight. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An (B)
In the morning, your brunch will be served while doing further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. The junk continues cruising toward Ha Long port. Ready for disembarking. Our car and guide will be there to pick you up toward Hanoi and to Noi Bai Airport for a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, meet our local guide and drive 35km further to Hoi An to check in your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: 1/2 day World Heritage of Hoi An Ancient town (B)
After breakfast, you will walk around tiny town with the stops at a 400 year – old Japanese Bridge, a 300 year-old Chinese temple, and a 200 year – old Vietnamese former merchants’ house.
Afternoon is free at leisure! Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An - Free (B)
A free day in Hoi An to explore the town by yourself!
Day 7: Hoi An - Hue (B)
After breakfast, you will be driven in one of Vietnams most scenic highways by private car to Hue (4hr). Stop on the way at white sand of Lang Co Beach and the top of Hai Van Pass. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check in.
In the afternoon, you will visit the impressive home of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors (1820-1945), the Imperial City and the Royal Citadel. Much of the Citadel was destroyed during the Tet Offensive in 1968 but is gradually being restored. Continue by boat on Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's oldest and most beautiful pagoda, thought to be the symbol or religion and spirit of Hue people. On the way return, observe sunset on Perfume River. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
In the morning, continue exploring Hue including the visits to King Tu Duc and Khai Dinh Tomb. Go back to your hotel for check-out and free for lunch at your own expense.
In the afternoon, you will board a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Home of Coconut trees (B/L)
After breakfast, depart from your hotel at 08:00, it takes only 2 hours pleasant drive to Ben Tre province crossing Rach Mieu Bridge. On arrival in Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River while sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring. Our first stop is at brick kiln to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Take a motorized cart (tuk tuk) or bicycle on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on real life and find out about tropical culture from peasants. Have lunch at local a riverside restaurant.
After lunch, we take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting up the motorized boat and transfer you back to the pier. Our driver will be there to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - 1/2 day city tour (B)
After breakfast, visit the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace it was this modern building that North Vietnamese tanks seized on the morning of April 30 1975, as Saigon fell. This fascinating building is filled with history still fresh in the minds of many. Continue to the War Museum, Old Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market. Return to your hotel and be free for the remainder of the day! Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet (B)
After breakfast, goodbye to Saigon, you will travel by road (no guide) to Phan Thiet to chill out on the beach. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 12: Phan Thiet - Free (B)
