Your Destination —
St. Moritz is one of the world’s most famous holiday resorts. Chic, elegant and exclusive with a cosmopolitan ambience, it is located at 1,856 metres (6,089.2 ft) above sea level in the middle of the Upper Engadin lake landscape.
It was the summer months that attracted the first national and international guests to the Upper Engadin. The incredibly bright colours, the fresh air: there is no doubt why the Engadin is called the Alps’ ballroom in the summer.
Mountain biking, climbing, equestrian sports and hiking are all extremely popular. If you fancy taking it easy, even just taking a ride on one of the mountain railways (free to hotel guests) is a glorious way to spend an afternoon, soaring into the lofty peaks to admire the mirrored shine of the lake below.
Watersports lovers should head back down to the lake for surfing, sailing and kiting in superb conditions on idyllic Lake Silvaplana, whilst golfers will be in their element at the fairway at 1,860 metres- a truly unique setting.
We recommend you add our car hire option to explore the area with ease.
