Your Destination —
Gruyères transports its visitors back in time with well-maintained Medieval infrastructure and aesthetics. The stone buildings create an incredibly romantic atmosphere while wandering the town’s alleyways and Sarine riverside, especially with the mighty Swiss Alps framing the background.
Once you reach the town, reward yourself for a journey well made with the decadent and sharp flavours of the famed local cheese. Next, work off all that cheese by walking up to the picturesque Gruyères Castle, which is perched on top of an 82-metre high hill overlooking the Saane valley and the Lake of Gruyère.
