The 4* Grandhotel Giessbach welcomes guests near the idyllic Giessbach Falls on the southeast shore of Lake Brienz in Switzerland. Brienz —
A charming mountain landscape surrounds Brienz at the eastern end of Lake Brienz. The village is the ideal starting point for excursions in the Bernese Oberland, to the Ballenberg open-air museum, Lucerne or Interlaken, or over to the many nearby Alpine passes. Picturesque views of Lake Brienz can be enjoyed from the town and in the summer, it is possible to swim in the lake which is accessible from the town.
