This private tour offers a more personal experience: the chance to discover the secrets of Transylvania with a friendly, experienced guide. Visit Peles Castle, the former residence of the Romanian Royal Family and the most visited castle in Romania.
Explore the famous Bran Castle, also known as 'Dracula’s Castle'. Bram Stocker’s novel is thought to be inspired by Bran Castle and Vlad the Impaler, one of the cruellest rulers of the Romanian Walachia region. Follow a guided walking tour of Brasov, with its medieval streets, and admire the impressive and well-preserved architecture of a typical Transylvanian city.
Dine on delicious Romanian traditional food (meals are not included, but you will have a lunch break and some excellent restaurants to choose from.)
Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from September to March. For the rest of the year, Peles Castle is closed only on Mondays. On these days,l visit Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni instead. During the official holidays and weekends, traffic to the mountain area might be busier than usual, so return could be later than scheduled (around 9 – 10 pm).
