Kraków’s postcard-perfect Old Town comes complete with Europe’s largest medieval market square and even a fairy-tale castle overlooking the river. From Krakow, you are able to embark on day excursions to places of historical and cultural significance, like Wieliczka Salt Mine and the ever-important and sobering Auschwitz.

Roads to Freedom Exhibition
Housed in a bunker deep beneath thundering ul Wały Piastowskie, this exhibition tracing the Polish struggle against communist rule is essential viewing for every visitor to the City.
Długi Targ (Long Market) was once the main city market and is now a major focus for visitors. at this bustling market you will find traditional food stalls and the city's trademark amber jewellery.
The nearby 1618 Golden House has the richest façade in the city, featuring elaborately carved stone and busts of famous historical figures, including two Polish kings.
Artus Court Museum
Perhaps the most famous house in the city, this was lovingly and painstakingly restored after its destruction in WWII, and manages to capture a glimpse of its remarkable past.
The hall is the main attraction, decorated with huge murals, models of sailing ships hanging from the ceiling, and topped by a huge Gothic vault supported on granite columns.
St Mary's Church
Dominating the heart of the Main Town, St Mary’s Church is often cited as the largest old brick church in the world. Some 105m long and 66m wide at the transept, its massive squat tower climbs 78m high into the Gdańsk cityscape. Around 25,000 people can fit easily into its 5000-sq-metre interior!
On first sight, the church looks almost empty, but walk around its 30-odd chapels to discover how many outstanding works of art have been accumulated.
One object that does stand out, in terms of both its size and rarity, is the 15th-century astronomical clock , placed in the northern transept. Another attraction of the church is its tower, offering unrivaled vistas from its tiny viewing platform, 405 steps above the city.

Check out from the hotel and depart for the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
For 6 night itineraries, you will stay in Krakow for 3 nights and Day 4 will depart Krakow for Gdansk. You will then stay in Gdansk for 3 nights and on Day 7 you will depart Gdansk for your return flight back to the UK.
