Half-day Muscat city visit (lunch not included)

Start your tour at the stunning Grand Mosque, featuring sandstone, marble, beautiful handmade Persian carpet, and a Swarovski crystal chandelier. From the mosque, cross to the old part of Muscat, stopping at the Mutrah fish market, and the opera. Next, head to Mutrah Souk, one of Oman’s oldest preserved markets, and discover Oman’s cultural heritage at Bait Al Zubair Museum, showcasing jewellery, weapons, and traditional costumes. Your final stop is the Al Alam Palace and the 16th-century Portuguese forts (outside only).

Discovery day of Nizwa, Bahla and Jibrin (lunch included, min. 2 people, 7 night stays +)

Start your day in the oasis city of Nizwa, once the capital of Oman. Visit the historic Nizwa Fort, explore the Nizwa Souk, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Bahla, known for its ancient fort and pottery workshops (photo stop only), and visit the stunning Jibrin Castle, renowned for its richly decorated interiors. Return to Muscat.

Please note: Every Friday morning, a livestock auction occurs in Nizwa (excluding hot summer months, Ramadan, and holidays). To include this, you must leave Muscat by 7am. On Fridays, forts are only open until 11am, so visiting Jibrin may not be possible.
Dolphin watching and snorkelling cruise (7 night stays +, transfers included)

Take a shared transfer from your hotel to the marina. Board a 2-hour boat trip (also shared) to watch dolphins along Muscat’s coast. Next, snorkel in a beautiful cove, maybe even spotting some turtles. Water and soft drinks are included on board. After the experience, return to the marina and transfer back to your hotel.

This excursion uncovers the highlights of both eastern and western Salalah. In the east, visit the historic village of Taqah, its castle, and the ancient ruins of Sumharam (Khor Rori), a key port on the incense route. Explore Mirbat, Dhofar's former capital, and the Bin Ali tomb. To the west, discover the serene Ayn Razat springs, Mughsail beach with its sea blowholes, and the fragrant incense tree valleys.

Tour around the scenic village of Taqa and stop to admire the incredible panoramic views, famously known as Taqah Plateau. Discover the world’s largest Sink Holes (211 m deep & 150 m in diameter), situated at Tawi Attair – also known as the “Well of Birds. The journey continues to the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Dhofar, where you can enjoy complete views of the east coast to the one side and the vast ‘Qara’ mountain range to the other.
