Grand Canyon Oman Style —
Set out on a trip to the Grand Canyon of Oman, at an altitude of 3000 metres. Along the way, you'll visit the fort of Nizwa and a local market. As you gain altitude at Jebel Shams, you can admire the terraced agriculture of the Wadi Ghul.

Excursion to Wadi Shab (including lunch)
Set off bright and early to discover Wadi Shab, one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman.
Practical information for your excursion:
- Depart at 8:30am from Muscat, taking the scenic coastal road towards Sur.
- First stop: Bimah Sinkhole, a striking natural crater filled with fresh water.
- Continue to Wadi Shab, one of Oman's most beautiful wadis, nestled amidst rugged mountains with stunning rock formations and natural pools.
- Enjoy a scenic walk through caves, plantations, cliffs, and slopes, with changing landscapes at every turn.
- At the end of Wadi Shab, swim through the famous keyhole to a serene hidden spot, where you'll have time to relax by the water.
- The walk takes approximately one hour each way.
- Lunch is included (excluding drinks).
- Depart mid to late afternoon, arriving back at your hotel in Muscat by 4:30pm.

Discover the historic treasures of Nizwa, Bahla, and Jibrin Castle on a captivating day tour filled with ancient forts, vibrant souks, and Omani cultural gems.
- Depart your hotel at 08:30 and head to the oasis city of Nizwa, once the capital during the Julanda dynasty in the 6th and 7th centuries.
- Visit Nizwa Fort, a testament to the city’s historical importance as Oman’s political and cultural hub.
- Explore the Nizwa Souq, famous for its silverware, jewellery, and traditional Omani daggers (khanjar), perfect for souvenir shopping.
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (excluding drinks).
- Continue to Bahla, one of Oman’s oldest forts, renowned for its pottery and its vast clay fort (photo stop only).
- Visit the 300-year-old Jibrin Castle, Oman's most beautiful fortress, known for its richly decorated interiors.
- Return to Muscat by 4:30pm.
Important: On Fridays, Nizwa hosts a livestock auction in the morning, requiring a 7am departure. Note that forts close by 11am on Fridays, limiting the visit to Jibrin Castle.
Dolphin watching (for stays of 7 nights or longer,transfers included)

- Embark on a 2-hour shared boat trip, where the captain will guide you to the best spots along Muscat's coast for dolphin watching.
- Afterward, head to a nearby bay for snorkelling, with the chance to spot turtles.
- Water and soft drinks are provided on board.
- Return to the marina, followed by a transfer back to your hotel.
Note: Sightings of dolphins and turtles are not guaranteed, and no refunds will be given. Times and the order or your itinerary may vary.
Traditional dhow cruise (for stays of 8 nights or longer, transfers included)
Unwind on a magical sunset cruise aboard a traditional dhow, as you glide along Muscat’s coastline and savour the serene beauty of the setting sun.
- In the afternoon, your driver will collect you from your hotel in Muscat and take you to the marina.
- Embark on a 2-hour sunset cruise aboard a traditional dhow (shared trip), gliding along Muscat’s scenic coast.
- Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere as the sun sets over the sea.
- Water and soft drinks are provided on board.
- After this serene experience, return to the marina and transfer back to your hotel.
