The College Hotel 4* —

From the moment you step into The College Hotel you will be struck by the sheer scale of this building, namely how the walls stretch up to intricately designed ceilings where contemporary chandeliers twinkle. The building itself is an impressive example of Dutch Renaissance Architecture and is often compared to the nearby Rijksmuseum, both of which were built in the 19th-century.

In former classrooms, and up under the wooden beams of the attic, the rooms are sometimes curiously shaped or have parts on different levels, which all adds to their allure – a chaise longue in a nook around a corner, perhaps, or a bed on a dais.
