Your Itinerary —

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, welcomed by guide and transferred to your hotel in the city centre to check in. Relax after a long journey. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, you will visit the War Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market for shopping. After lunch time, you will proceed to China Town, walk around its bustling streets and visit Thien Hau Pagoda as well as Fito Chinese Medicine Museum. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, you will depart to Mekong Delta. Upon arrival at My Tho, take a boat to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) at a Mekong River estuary. Stop at a garden restaurant for lunch. Then cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee farms, taste natural honey, honey wine and tropical fruits, listen to local music, visit a distillery and a local coconut candy maker. Then move to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho – Chau Doc (B/L)
Early morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by motorboat, we will see the Cai Rang Floating Market – the busiest but nicest one with heaps of boats. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Then continue to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen. Check in on arrival. A boat trip to a floating fish farms is the highlight of Chau Doc, a Cham minority village, where traditional weaving remains the major trade and a local Muslim Mosque. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 5: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B) After breakfast, you will take a speedboat to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a guide and transferred to your hotel for check in. Afternoon is free at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 6 : Phnom Penh (B) After breakfast, you will visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Preahkeo Morokot, National Museum, Wat Phnom and Wat Ounalom. Lunch will be at your own expense. In the afternoon, you will visit Toul Sleng, also called Prison S21 and Killing Field, 17 kilometer south of Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 7: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by road (B) Today you travel by road from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. On route you will witness the everyday lives of the Cambodians as you pass through interesting towns, bucolic villages, and delightful scenery. This is no ‘freeway dash’ as you will often slow down to let cows and water buffalos wander across the road, pass horse-pulled carriages, and school kids walking and biking to/from schools. You will stop at Skoun, also known as ‘Spider Ville’ due to the deep fried tarantula that is the local delicacy. Are you adventurous enough to try one? Later you will visit Ku ha Nor Kor Temple, Cambodia’s oldest temple built in the 6th century. Closer to Siem Reap, you may wish to stop at Kompong Kdei to witness Spean Pratos – an ancient Angkorian bridge built in the 12th century. Check in your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
After breakfast, you will start to explore Angkor complex with:
Banteay Srei: nearly everyone’s favourite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of its decorative carving
Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer.
We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers
Ta Prohm was built in the 12th century. It’s a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of King Jayavarman VII.
Pre Rup temple was built in the 10th century during the reign of King Rajendravarman II
Day 9: Siem Reap (B)
We start a very special and busy day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.
The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century)
See the South Gate, Bayon Temple- unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara
Baphuon Temple: lying just to the north of Bayon, a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru
The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas
The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King
In the afternoon, you will visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendour. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Evening is your free time for walking at busy pub street. Pop up at a bar for cool drink or shopping at Angkor Night Market. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Today you will board a morning flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver (no guide) and proceed to Vung Tau (2.5 hours) Check into your beach resort and relax!
Day 11 to day 12 Vung Tau (B)
Two free days to do whatever takes your fancy!
Day 13: Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B/No guide)
240km = 4.5 to 5.5 hours transfer
After breakfast, you will be free until you meet your driver again and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for your departure flight.
