Your Itinerary in Detail —
Kuala Lumpur
Welcome to Malaysia's largest city, Kuala Lumpur! Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel where you'll have the rest of your day free to yourself.
On Day 2, you'll spend the day sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur also known as the 'Garden City of Lights.' You'll see the grand and palatial King's Palace and the awe-inspiring House of Parliament. You'll also visit the National Monument at Lake Garden and pass by the enormous National Mosque and ornate railway station.
On Day 3, you'll get a bit of natural and sacred beauty with a visit to the Batu Caves. Here you'll see magnificent natural formations within the caves as well as an extensive collection of sacred temples built into the caves.
On Day 4, you'll head out for Penang.
Penang (days 4-6 for 8-night tour and days 4-7 for 10-night tour)
On your way to Penang, you'll pass through the countryside full of rubber and palm oil plantations before crossing the Penang Bridge into the city where you'll check in to your next hotel. From there, you'll have the rest of the day to yourself.
On Day 5, you'll take a half-day tour of George Town and pass down the 'Steet of Harmony' which features houses of worship of four different religions (Christianity, Taoism, Islam and Hinduism). Later, you'll visit the historic Pinang Peranakan Mansion known for its eclectic design and vast collection of Chinese and Baba Nyonya antiques.
On Day 6, those on the 8-night tour will proceed to the Cameron Highlands while the 10-night tour will have a free day in Penang.
On Day 7, the 10-night tour will proceed to the Cameron Highlands.
Kuala Lumpur
For both tour options, the rest of your time in Kuala Lumpur will be free time to see and do everything you weren't able to fit in during the first portion of the tour until the time of your transfer back to the airport.
