Borneo

In Sandakan, you will find the famous "wild man of Borneo". One of the world’s most adored animals, the orang-utan, can be seen in the sanctuary at Sepilok, where the orphaned young are carefully rehabilitated and then released back into the jungle. The peaceful village of Sukau is a single paved road, lined with fruit trees and hibiscus flowers, with three lodges over a 40-minute walk along the riverbank. Home to fascinating wildlife along the banks of the Menanggol River, spot crocodiles and witness the cheeky monkeys, hornbills, monitor lizards and the long-nosed proboscis monkey. 

Kuala Lumpur

Langkawi

The island of Langkawi is located at the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia, where the Straits of Malacca meets the Indian Ocean. Day 1: Sandakan - Arrival
Meet upon arrival at Sandakan Airport, transfer to check-in hotel, rest & relax.    

Overnight at Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan

Day 2: Sandakan
Breakfast is served at the hotel.

At 8 am you will be picked up from the hotel and proceed for Sepilok Nursery, Sun Bear & Labuk Bay Discovery (approx. 8 hours long).

At this Centre, observe man’s closest relative “the Orang Utan” being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo. At 10 am, witness the feeding of Orang Utans at the feeding platform and proceed to the Orang Utan Nursery. Here, you will learn about managing juvenile Orang Utans by working at the centre. As today around 25 young orphaned orangutans are housed in the nurseries.
Later, continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. The Centre that managed to improve the living condition of the rescued sun bear and released their natural behaviours in the 2.5ha enclosed forest. After lunch, check in to the resort, located at one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world.

After lunch at about 2-3pm, proceed to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary to witness the feeding of the proboscis monkeys. 

You will then be transferred back to the hotel for time to rest & relax.

Day 3: Sandakan - Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast is served at the hotel.
Check-out from the hotel by 12.00 pm and transfer to Sandakan Airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur. 
You will be met upon arrival at the airport for your transfer to check-in at the hotel. You will then have free time at your leisure to rest & relax, or explore the city.

Day 4: Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast is served at the hotel.

At 9 am, you will be picked up from the hotel to take your Kuala Lumpur City Discovery (approx. 3.5 hours long)
See the influential structures of Kuala Lumpur city in one quick trip as each monument has its story to share. Admire the architectural brilliance and its cosmopolitan landscapes. Hop on this tour that takes you to the National Monument, King’s Palace, National Museum, Independence Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, then choose to have a snapshot at the Petronas Twin Towers or National Mosque.

Check-out from hotel and transfer to Kuala Lumpur airport for your flight to Langkawi. Upon arrival in Langkawi, you will be met by your transfer and will be taken to the hotel. Check in and then spend the rest of your time at leisure.
