Day 2: Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast Included)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. At 9 am, you will be picked up from the hotel and will proceed to the city for a 3.5 hour long excursion. See Kuala Lumpur’s city with influential structures, from the old Chinese houses to the British Colonial buildings. The city will be filled with the colours of street art as Kuala Lumpur has begun the "art in the city" movement. You can enjoy music from buskers while admiring the architectural brilliance and the beautiful landscapes. The tour will then bring you to more dazzling sights and sounds, which include the National Monument. In addition, you'll see the King’s Palace (known as Istana Negara), which is the official residence of the country's Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong. The palace, which sits on a sprawling 97.65ha plot of land in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, is built in a rich Islamic and traditional Malay architectural style. At the National Museum and Independence Square, you can get to know the culture and history of Kuala Lumpur. Head to the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Kuala Lumpur City Gallery to see the development of Kuala Lumpur after the independence or the National Mosque National Mosque, also known as Masjid Negara in Malay language, located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Built in 1965, it is one of the most elegant buildings in KL and features a spectacular main dome covered in green and blue tiles, along with 48 smaller domes spread across the Mecca-inspired courtyard. Lastly, the Petronas Twin Towers are an ideal place to take a photo of the city skyline and capture unforgettable moments on camera. KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden set close to Suria KLCC shopping centre. Designed by Roberto Burle Marx, it was designed to provide a touch of greenery for the Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across - a day to remember. Afterwards, enjoy free time and an overnight stay.
