Your Destinations —
The city's pride and joy is without a doubt its Medieval Old Town, but equally enchanting is the Kadriorg district, a throwback to the time when Estonia was ruled by the Russian Tsars.
Named as the European Capital of Culture in 2011, Tallin is bursting with museums and architecture to explore, as well as beaches and seaside promenades. There are a large number of churches and monasteries to visit, such as St. Olav’s Church and tower, the 14th century Gothic church that dominates Tallinn's skyline.
Organizers plan a Christmas tree-decorating contest and other games. The decorated stalls at the Tallinn Christmas market sell Christmas decorations, gifts, and food. Handmade Estonian crafts will be of special interests to those looking to find a suitable souvenir from their trip to Tallinn.
