A strong contender to win prize as Europe’s most beautiful city, Prague ‘the City of a Thousand Spires’ is as charming as it is picturesque. Imagine gold-tipped towers, cathedrals, bridges and church domes, all reflected in the Vltava River for more than ten centuries, and you will have a little idea of Prague’s magic. Founded in the 9th century when it was ruled by the Bohemian kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire of old, Prague thrived under Charles IV in the 14th century and so many of the city’s attractions date back to that time. Almost undamaged by WWII, Prague has retained its medieval charm and enchants its visitors at every turn.
Take a magical stroll down cobbled lanes through the Old Town and visit Prague’s 9th century castle, not just the largest and most ancient in the world but also the size of 7 football fields. Rise before dawn to watch the sun rise over the stunning Charles IV bridge, complete with its 16 arches and 30 Baroque statues, and capture a breathtaking view that you will never forget. Or go to the 550-year-old U Medvidku Beer Hall and sample the drink for which Prague is world-renowned; beer.
With a spellbinding charm, Prague easily remains one of the most romantic cities across the globe and has a history that will seduce you.
Boasting two UNESCO World Heritage Sites; nearly one hundred thermal springs and twelve spas; Roman ruins and Turkish baths; along with some truly magnificent architecture, Budapest is a city where you'll never be bored.Budapest is exquisitely situated on both sides of the Danube with Buda and Pest, claiming one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Europe, and with the perfect contrast between the right and left banks.
In the Hungarian capital, classic European culture and a wonderfully modern city centre come together to create a city that sparkles and entices. As you stroll through the streets you’ll love the striking architecture, along with the many bars, museums, restaurants and shops that surround you. is surrounded by medieval streets, wine bars, restaurants and its own green park, the perfect spot to sit & relax with a drink.
Budapest’s Castle District abounds in great attractions. The Royal Palace is situated on the southern part of Castle Hill. Today it is home to important cultural institutions and museums like the Hungarian National Gallery, the Ludwig Museum (Museum of Contemporary Art) and the Budapest Historical Museum.
It is also worth visiting Fishermen’s Bastion that was built in 1905. From its top you can have the best panoramic view of Budapest.
Finally you must see the neo-gothic style Matthias Church rebuilt by Frigyes Schulek at the turn of the last century and the Labyrinth of Buda Castle that stretches beneath Castle Hill.
