Welcome to Costa Rica!
Meet our English speaking representative at the airport. Then transfer to your hotel located in downtown San José, the capital city. Receive your documentation of travel and accommodation at your hotel.
1-Night in San José.
Day 2: San José - Tortuguero (4h00 journey and 1h30 in a boat)
Meet at your reception for a transfer to the Tortuguero pier. Arrival in the city of Guápiles and breakfast in a local restaurant, before taking a boat to Tortuguero National Park, travelling on the canals, in the heart of the rainforest.
Check into the lodge. Ride a boat to the small Caribbean village of Tortuguero for a visit, before heading to the lodge. Afternoon free to enjoy the facilities of the lodge and to walk around. Between July and October, you can join a night excursion to observe the nesting of green turtles, baulas or loras.
Enjoy Dinner and Overnight accommodation at the lodge.
8-nights Offer
After breakfast at the lodge, take a boat trip to visit the canals of Tortuguero Park: it is a different and very fun way to discover this imposing panorama. (The entrance to the national park is not included: $ 15.00 per person). Return to Guápiles by boat, and then have lunch in a local restaurant. The car rental agent will meet you at the restaurant to give you your rental car.
You will then continue to the north of the country to reach La Fortuna, a town at the foot of the Arenal volcano. Install yourself then enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Car Hire: Car hire in either a Daihatsu Bego for 2/3 people or Suzuki Grand Vitara for 4 people is included in this offer as per itinerary (day 4-8).

Visa Waiver Programme —
If you are travelling to the USA or choose a flight option with a US layover, the US authorities have introduced a requirement for passengers travelling under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP), to register for Electronic Travel Authority. Passengers who have not applied for and received travel authorisation via ESTA prior to travel may be denied boarding, experience delayed processing, or be denied admission at the US port of entry. However, neither possession of a visa, nor meeting the basic requirements for travelling visa-free on the VWP, guarantees admission to the United States. As with most countries, the final determination of admissibility is made by immigration officials at the port of entry. Please remember that issue of ESTA does not guarantee admissibility to the United States - it is only part of the travel approval process. All queries in relation to this requirement should be addressed via the US Embassy Consular department.
Please remember that if you are refused boarding or denied admission at the US port of entry, you will still be subject to our cancellation charges in accordance with the terms of our contract with you.

There is an online application form which is available now at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. Prior to travel, you will need to visit this website and fill in the on-line application (currently in English only).
