Day 8: Santiago – Easter Island (Ahu Akivi)
- Arrival on Easter Island, be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your selected hotel.
- In the afternoon, embark on a 20-minute trek to Ana te Pahu, one of the island’s most visited underground caves, historically used as a tribal residence with a freshwater source and cultivated plants. Its petrified lava roof resonates like a drum, giving the cave its name, “Te Pahu.”
- Continue to Ahu Akivi, a majestic site featuring seven restored moai representing the explorers sent by King Hotu Matu’a, astronomically aligned and central to ancient spiritual ceremonies.

- Sail past the historic Bories meatpacking plant, and spot Imperial Cormorants, sea lions, and the region’s distinctive flora, including Coigüe, Canelo, Lenga, Ñire, Chilco, and Calafate.
