7 night trip
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Welcome to Phnom Penh – the capital and largest city of Cambodia, located at the confluence of the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac rivers. Known for its rich history, it features landmarks like the Royal Palace and the Killing Fields, offering a blend of culture, architecture, and resilience.

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH - CITY
- Breakfast
- Begin your day with a visit to the Royal Palace
- Continue to the nearby Silver Pagoda, home to national treasures such as gold and bejewelled Buddha statues
- Visit Tuol Sleng, once a secondary school turned interrogation centre during the Khmer Rouge regime, now a genocide museum
- Conclude your day with a stroll along the Russian Market

Please note:
- The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda are open from 8am to 10.30am and 2 to 4pm, but may close at short notice for official ceremonies.
- All visitors should wear knee-length shorts and an elbow-length T-shirt or blouse, otherwise, you will need to purchase an appropriate sarong to cover up at the entrance.
- Be prepared to be amazed by some of the exhibits at Toul Sleng
DAY 3: PHNOM PENH - KAMPONG THOM - SIEM REAP
- Breakfast
- Head to Kompong Thom, one of the 5 provinces bordering the gigantic Tonle Sap Lake. On the way, visit the amazing Skun market or Mygale market, and then the 11th-century temples of Prasat Kuha Nokor and Phum Prasat, a Hindu rather than a Buddhist temple, as well as traditional stone carving workshops
- Arrive in Kompong Thom in the late morning. In the afternoon, drive through villages to the archaeological site of Sambor Prei Kuk, the ancient pre-Angkorian capital, where you will discover grandiose 7th-century temples
- Continue to Siem Reap, passing through villages and rice plains. You will make a short stop at Kompong Kdei, to discover an ancient bridge from the Angkorian archaeological period

DAY 4: SIEM REAP - ANGKOR WAT - BANTEY SREY - BANTEY SAMRE
- Breakfast
- Visit the temple of Angkor Wat
- Continue to Banteay Srei, known as the "citadel of women". This temple captivates visitors with its compact size, exceptional preservation, and stunningly intricate carvings
- Observe traditional work in the rice fields and the methods used for collecting palm sugar
- Visit Banteay Samre, a 12th-century Hindu temple often likened to a miniature Angkor Wat

DAY 5: SIEM REAP - TA PROHM - ANGKOR THOM - PREAH KHAN - TA SOM - NEAK PEAN

- Discover the temple of Ta Prohm, famously known as the "Temple of the Tomb Raider"
- Explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom, founded in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. This vast, fortified Khmer city was the capital until the 17th century
- Visit the enigmatic Bayon Temple, known for its iconic towers adorned with serene faces, and admire the intricate carvings on the Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King
- Continue to the North Baray Reservoir and discover the Preah Khan Temple, followed by visits to the Ta Som and Neak Pean temples.
- Ascend Pre Rup temple mountain and enjoy a spectacular sunset from its summit

DAY 6: SIEM REAP - KBAL SPEAN (THOUSAND LINGAS) - THEAM HOUSE - NIGHT WALK

- Scenic drive to Kbal Spean, known as the ‘River of a Thousand Lingas’. Please note: It is a 1.5 km hike uphill through the forest to reach the Kbal Spean waterfall. It is advisable to take a small fan or mosquito spray with you. The best time to visit Kbal Spean is between July and December. Visitors who come between January and June (especially in March and April) will be disappointed as there is very little water
- Visit the House of Theam, the studio of Cambodia’s renowned artist, for a guided tour showcasing his collections and Cambodian culture
- In the evening, explore the lively night market or stroll through streets lined with bars and pubs

DAY 7: SIEM REAP - KAMPONG PHLUK FLOATING VILLAGE - ½ DAY AT LEISURE
