Day 12: Salvador
After breakfast at the hotel embark on a walking tour to Pelourinho. A colourful and luminous city, Salvador captivates everybody with the happiness of the Afro-Brazilian culture. This unique charm is the result of a mixture of cultures and religions since its foundation. The city separates the beautiful beaches of the historic centre on two levels: the high and low towns connected by the famous elevator Lacerda. Pelourinho, the icon of Bahia, is located in the Upper Town and presents a beautiful architecture with colorful houses and colonial churches, in addition to a delicious typical gastronomy and a very particular style of music and dance.
This tour is a journey through the history of the city of Salvador, but also of Brazil, passing by the most important monuments of the historic centre, a major urban complex of the colonial period. When visiting the upper town, guests have the opportunity to enjoy Bahia's oldest architectural treasures. From Farol da Barra, at the entrance of the Bay of Toussaint, where is currently the Nautical Museum of the city, then Porto da Barra, with its two strong protectors, Santa Maria and San Diego, and in the traditional neighbourhoods of Corredor da Vitória, Piedade and Campo Grande, the heart of the carnival in Bahia. On the town square, you have a magnificent view of the Lacerda Elevator, the Lower City and All Saints Bay. It continues towards the colourful Pelourinho, with its charming colonial houses and cobblestone streets. It is not only a beautiful place to visit, it is also the symbol of the city, with a large collection of colonial architecture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
There is also the Church of St. Francis, called "Golden Church", with a baroque interior covered with gold leaf, and the Basilica Cathedral. Pelourinho is an important centre of culture and entertainment, with many museums, restaurants, theaters and squares, which hosts important shows, such as the internationally renowned "Repetition of Olodum". Day 3: Salvador

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer from the hotel to the airport (driver only). Board your flight from Salvador to Manaus. Transfer to the hotel (driver only). Departure from the hotel to Manaus until boarding the THM fast boat (1:20) towards the meeting of waters, Lake Janauary and floating houses. Around 12:00, lunch will be served at the floating restaurant. Arrival at Evolução Ecolodge around 5pm, where you will have a welcome aperitif and registration, followed by dinner and a free night at the lodge.
Day 5: Manaus
07:00 - Breakfast
08:00 - Walk in the jungle and Caboclo house where you can learn more about the preparation of cassava flour
12:00 - Lunch
15:00 - Canoe trip to visit Igapó (flooded jungle) and piranha fishing
19:00 - Dinner
8:00 pm - You will explore the edge of the river with floodlights. With a little luck, it is possible to see typical caimans, nocturnal hawks, snakes and frogs.
Day 6: Manaus
05:30 - Visit at sunrise and bird watching in canoes at the Ariaú River
08:00 - Breakfast and morning free to swim or rest
12:00 - Lunch
15:00 - You will explore more deeply the jungle in canoes in Igapó (flooded forest every year) with the possibility to see monkeys and lazy and late afternoon piranhas fishing and admire the sunset Sun.
19:00 - Farewell dinner and free night
Day 7: Manaus - Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast at the hotel, depart from the hotel by speedboat. Enjoy a private transfer from the hotel to the airport (driver only). Then board a flight from Manaus to Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the hotel (driver only). Overnight stay at Windsor Plaza in a standard room.
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full day (non-private) Corcovado and Sugarloaf trip. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the magnificent Christ the Redeemer, the iconic statue at the top of Corcovado Hill, Rio's most famous landmark. Corcovado Hill is part of the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. On the way to its summit is the Dona Marta lookout, from where you can see the Maracanã Stadium, the famous Guanabara Bay and the magnificent Sugarloaf. Once at the top of the hill of Corcovado, it is possible to admire a breathtaking view of Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, the lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas and the Botanical Garden.
Each year, more than a million tourists visit the famous Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Mountain), emblematic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Its name has been attributed to the resemblance to the traditional form of refined sugar loaf. The route to the summit is by glass cable car. The first cable car takes passengers to the summit of Urca Hill, which rises to 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and surrounding islands. On the Urca hill, passengers take the second cable car to reach the summit of Sugar Loaf, which rises to 395 metres above sea level and offers a 360-degree view of the whole city, including the beaches of Botafogo and Copacabana. from Corcovado Hill and downtown Rio. This tour starts after breakfast, departing from the hotel, to visit the most famous sites of the city and discover the natural beauty of Rio from above. After a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, you will arrive at the bottom of Corcovado Hill.
You will board a comfortable mountain train and travel to the Christ Redeemer statue at an altitude of 2,000 meters. Once at the top, you can use the panoramic lifts or escalators to get to the foot of the statute, and enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro. After that, you will descend the mountain and head to the Sugar Loaf Mountain, where you will reach both stages of the cable car to climb the hill and enjoy the 360 degree view of Rio de Janeiro. The next stop will be in a barbecue restaurant for a delicious lunch in the Brazilian style.
