Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro, known as the "Marvelous City," is a vibrant mix of stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and lively energy. Nestled between lush mountains and golden beaches, it’s home to iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the lively neighborhoods of Copacabana and Ipanema. With its infectious samba rhythms, world-famous Carnival, and breathtaking coastal views, Rio offers an unforgettable experience.

DAY 2: RIO DE JANEIRO – CITY TOUR & CHRIST THE REDEEMER

- Head to Corcovado to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the statue of Christ the Redeemer
- The next stop is a visit to the famous temple of football –Maracanã
- The tour continues along the Sambodrome, an avenue surrounded by grandstands where the best samba schools parade during Carnival, to Rio de Janeiro's Metropolitan Cathedral, whose futuristic architecture and emblematic size are reminiscent of the Mayan pyramids
- We'll then visit the Selarón steps, a work of art by Chilean artist Jorge Selaron, where you will see more than 2,000 pieces of pottery from different countries around the world

- Explore Tijuca National Park, the world’s largest urban forest, on a thrilling jeep tour. Once part of Rio’s vast Atlantic rainforest, this 33 km² sanctuary is home to waterfalls, exotic wildlife, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue
- The jeep then takes you to Rocinha favela with a local guide for an insightful and respectful look at daily life in these vibrant communities. A portion of the tour cost supports local initiatives, offering a unique perspective on Rio while contributing to its future

Between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo lies a region rich in magnificent and enchanting sites and traditions. The Costa Verde is literally the ‘green coast’, referring to the colour of the calm waters of its various bays and its 300 paradise-like islands. It is one of the most beautiful coastlines in Brazil, jagged, wild, mountainous and tropical. The jewel in the crown is Paraty, one of the country's best-preserved colonial villages, whose reputation continues to grow

- At 1:30 pm, explore the UNESCO-listed historic center with a guide, strolling its cobbled streets lined with bars, shops, and art workshops. Visit the House of Culture, the Museum of Sacred Art, traditional cachaçarias, and several historic churches

Day 7: Paraty – Tropical Islands
Paraty has 65 islands and over a hundred beaches of rare beauty, surrounded by lush vegetation that makes it a calm and unforgettable place, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Pedra do Telégrafo tour

Pedra do Telégrafo, in Pedra Branca National Park west of Rio, offers stunning views of beaches, Tijuca forest, Barra da Tijuca, and Restinga de Marambaia. The tour includes hotel pickup, a scenic drive past beaches like Grumari and Prainha, and a 1500m hike (about 50 minutes) to the rock. Known for opportunities for playful photos, the rock appears dangerous but is actually close to the ground.
Trinidade excursion

Trindade, a charming village 27km from Paraty, is a paradise with beautiful beaches and a natural pool. Travel there by van or minibus with a knowledgeable guide. Stops include Cepilho Beach for photos, Ranchos Beach for swimming, snorkelling, and a meal at Vagalume restaurant (drinks not included), and Meio Beach, known for its heart shape and clear waters. A 30-minute walk through the Atlantic rainforest leads to Caixa D'aço Beach and its unforgettable natural pool surrounded by rocks, perfect for snorkelling among colorful fish. A boat ride to the pool from Praia do Meio is optional.

Explore the hidden beaches of Guanabara Bay by boat. Take a walk through the historic Santa Teresa neighbourhood, filled with colonial-style houses and street art. You can also visit the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban rainforest in the world, for scenic hikes and a glimpse of local wildlife.
Good to know:
The Brazilian real (BRL) is the local currency, and the best time to visit is from May to October when the weather is cooler and drier. Modesty in dress is recommended when visiting religious sites.
