8-night itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA
After your Brazil adventures, arrive at Lima International Airport (LIM). Private transfer with driver to the hotel in the Miraflores district. Explore the city of Lima and visit the Convent of San Francisco with a private English-speaking guide. The tour takes you through the colonial districts of the city centre, passing through Plaza San Martín and Plaza de Armas.
Visit to the Casa Aliaga. After exploring the historic centre, transfer to the modern district of Miraflores, the city’s most touristy area situated by the sea. Stop at the Park of Love, perched on the cliff overlooking the Pacific, an iconic spot facing the ocean.

Early in the morning, a private guided tour of the Machu Picchu citadel with your English-speaking guide. You will admire the full majesty of the ‘ancient mountain’ (the meaning of its name in Quechua).
Return by coach to Machu Picchu Pueblo. At the agreed time, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cusco. Altitude: 3,400 m.
