Your Itinerary In Detail —
Day 1-3: Buenos Aires - Ushuaia
Your driver will meet you at the airport with a sign and take you to your accommodation.
Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
DAY 2: Buenos Aires - Guided Tour
To start the day, meet at the reception of your hotel! Over a cup of coffee, your guide will introduce you to Buenos Aires with the help of maps (optional tour for a supplement).
After this brief introduction, you will head to the famous Plaza de Mayo, in front of the Casa Rosada (presidential house). You will then stroll along the "docks" of Puerto Madero, an old port renovated into a modern and trendy neighbourhood.
You will then be guided to the famous neighbourhood of La Boca, known for its colourful taul houses and tango dancers in the streets. To end the morning, you'll follow your guide to the Bohemian and popular neighbourhood of San Telmo, one of the oldest in the city.
Today it is home to antique shops, bookshops, hardware stores, milongas and street markets. The order of the tour and the neighbourhoods indicated can be modified according to your wishes and to external conditions (weather, public holidays, etc.).
Optional Outing (supplement required):
Between 19:00 and 19:45 your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to one of the most famous cabarets of the city (for a supplement). During this evening, you will discover an authentic Argentine Tango show.
The evening begins with an introduction to tango, followed by a magnificent tango show with professional musicians and dancers while you enjoy a wonderful dinner.
At the end of the dinner and after the tango show, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
DAY 3: Buenos Aires - Ushuaia - Arrival in Tierra del Fuego
Your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport Aeroparque in Buenos Aires for your domestic flight Buenos Aires (AEP) to Ushuaia (USH).
Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
DAY 4 - 6: Ushuaia -Tierra del Fuego National Park
Today, we recommend that you participate in the optional visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park (for a supplement).
Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, 14 km from the city centre. You will then have half a day to discover this beautiful place, accompanied by your guide. There are many places to visit in the park: Lapataia Bay, Lake Roca and its view of the sierras, the beaver dams, etc.
The fauna and flora dominate, and you will have the opportunity to take beautiful pictures. In high season, you will meet the postman at the end of the world and have the opportunity to send a card to your loved ones from the southernmost post office on the planet.
You will also make a brief stop at the interpretation centre to learn more about the park.
At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to your accommodation.
In the heart of the park, you will board the legendary End of the World Train (entrance ticket not included, you will be required to pay for it on the spot), which will take you through the forest of the national park. Thanks to the audio explanations given on the train, you will learn more about the daily life of the prisoners of Tierra del Fuego.
DAY 5: Ushuaia- Beagle Channel by Boat
After breakfast, if you choose to take part in an outing to the Beagle Channel by Boat (optional, supplement required).
Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you directly to the port of Ushuaia.
During this outing you will experience a voyage to the Faro de los Conquistadores (nicknamed 'the lighthouse at the end of the world'), in the Beagle Channel, the natural border between Argentina and Chile.
You will have the opportunity to observe colonies of sea lions in their natural state. You will then return to the port of Ushuaia in the early afternoon. From there, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
DAY 6: Ushuaia - Emerald Lagoon
In the morning, if you decide to take an excursion (optional, supplement required), your driver will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to Laguna Esmeralda.
This is one of the most accessible excursions from the southernmost city in the world. Unique and comforting, the starting point of this excursion is only 20 minutes from the centre. Together with your guide, you will cross the Lasifashaj Valley on a well-marked trail.
Depending on the weather, you will walk through rocky terrain and peat bogs.
After the forest, you continue the hike to the Emerald Lagoon, a small lake of glacial origin named after the colour of the sediments from the Ojo del Albino glacier. This colour can only be appreciated in summer, as in winter the water is frozen and covered with snow. While enjoying the scenery, you will have lunch with your picnic.
On the way back, you will enjoy the incredible scenery of the lagoon for the last time.
Your driver will then take you back to your accommodation.
DAY 7: Ushuaia - Buenos Aires - Wine tasting
Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to Ushuaia airport to Buenos Aires.
Around 7 p.m., you are invited to visit one of the most incredible wineries in Palermo in Buenos Aires (optional excursion, for a supplement).
Taste 6 great wines of different varieties and regions, accompanied by a board of Argentinean cold cuts and cheeses.
Participate in an informative session and debate with the sommeliers about the different wines, their production processes and the history of the wine industry and the history of wine in Argentina. Enjoy this visit in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. At Joaquin's, you are sure to have an enjoyable time.
DAY 8: Buenos Aires
Your driver will pick you up at your hotel three hours before take-off and take you to Buenos Aires International Airport.
