Begin with Corcovado Mountain to admire Christ the Redeemer, standing 710 meters above the city amidst the lush Tijuca Forest. From the base of the statue, enjoy panoramic views of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.
Continue through downtown Rio, seeing the exterior of Maracanã Stadium, the Sambadrome, the pyramid-shaped Metropolitan Cathedral, and the historic Cinelândia square with its theaters and libraries. Capture the colours of the Selarón Steps with a photo stop before heading towards Urca and Sugarloaf Mountain.
