Relais Castello di Morcote —

The name of the Relais originates from the Castle of Morcote, the only medieval fortress existing in the Lugano area and the heart of the family wine estate where wine, olive oil and honey are produced. Here, you will be enveloped by an elegant and welcoming atmosphere as you stay in a historic building, originally a former convent from the 17th century, that has been transformed into a stunning hotel.

An intimate Mediterranean garden, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains, welcomes you to relax, sunbathe or sip an aperitif at sunset. You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 

If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Switzerland. For non-British citizens, you should check the current entry requirements on the website of the Foreign Ministry and if necessary, confirm with the Swiss Embassy.
