Your itinerary in detail —
Days 1 to 3: Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe
Start your adventure at the majestic Victoria Falls - one of the largest and most famous waterfalls in the world - where the mighty Zambezi River cascades into the gorge below.
Above the falls, on the Upper Zambezi, boats glide across the tranquil water at sunset as the distant spray catches the fading light downstream. Beyond the falls, the rock walls of the Batoka Gorge channel the Bas-Zambèze into a chain of world-class rapids, renowned for white-water rafting.
As well as being a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural wonder, Victoria Falls also forms a natural border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, and many activities are available on both sides, from helicopter flights to village visits and souvenir shops.
Please note: Activities in Victoria Falls can be arranged on request. Please contact the Activities Desk (at an additional cost).
- Breakfast included
- Nights in Pioneer Victoria Falls
Days 4 to 6: Chobe River Front
Continue your adventure to the Chobe River Front, which has the highest density of African elephants in the world. In winter, the spectacle is nothing short of extraordinary, with hundreds of elephants congregating to drink along the riverbanks.
Activities include spectacular wildlife viewing from open safari vehicles and by boat on the Chobe River.
Chobe Elephant Camp also has a seasonal jetty located about an hour's drive from the camp which is usually operational from May to September. You can even go canoeing (subject to adequate water levels - must be booked in advance).
- All inclusive basis
- Night in Chobe Elephant Camp
Days 7 to 9: Khwai Community area
Discover the Khwai community area and enjoy exciting day and evening game drives, mokoro rides along the canals and bush walks for a total wilderness immersion.
Nestled between the famous Chobe National Park to the east and the Moremi Game Reserve to the south, Khwai is home to a rich wildlife population.
Much of your time here will be spent exploring the Khwai River which is a real wildlife hotspot. Spot leopards hunting in the tall grass, lions swimming to protect their cubs in territorial disputes, and crocodiles battling warthogs for a meal of impala.
- Breakfast included
- Nights in Sango Safari Camp
