F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026 —
Get right in the thick of the action with the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026.
Since joining the calendar in 2021, the Jeddah Corniche street circuit has established itself as one of the most spectacular venues in the championship. Its fast and technical layout, featuring 27 corners, is one of the longest and most demanding in the championship, offering thrilling battles at speeds of over 200 mph.
In 2025, Oscar Piastri's victory at the wheel of his McLaren reinforced the internal rivalry within the Woking-based team, launching the Australian driver on his quest for the supreme title and confirming Jeddah's status as the scene of great moments in F1.
In 2026, excitement will be ramped up a notch with new regulations and the arrival of a new team, which will completely reshuffle the deck and shake up the grid order. General Motors/Cadillac will attempt to shake up the hierarchy as soon as it arrives by placing its experienced drivers, Valteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez, as high as possible on the grid. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will try to shine with Ferrari after a season in which doubts remain. At Red Bull, there is another driver change, with the arrival of French driver Isack Hadjar alongside Max Verstappen, in an attempt to put the Austrian team back on the top step of the podium. Finally, Norris and Piastri's McLarens will have to stay focused to remain at the top and achieve a consecutive hat-trick in the constructors' championship.
This second round of the season will be a crucial test for the teams and drivers in their quest for overall victory.
Expect a unique experience and thrill to the rhythm of the engines on the spectacular Jeddah circuit.

Jeddah —
Jeddah, the gateway to Mecca and a vibrant Red Sea port, is Saudi Arabia’s most cosmopolitan city. A historic trading hub turned modern metropolis, it blends old and new with ease, where gleaming skyscrapers rise beside centuries-old coral stone houses, and traditional souks hum with life just minutes from chic waterfront cafés.
Must-sees:
- Al-Balad: Wander through Jeddah’s atmospheric old town, a UNESCO-listed maze of coral-stone houses, intricately carved wooden balconies, and bustling souks.
- Jeddah Corniche: A sweeping promenade lined with palm trees, modern art installations, and prime Red Sea views, best enjoyed at sunset.
- King Fahd Fountain: The world’s tallest seawater fountain, shooting water over 300 metres into the air—a striking spectacle at night.
- Obhur Creek: Escape the city with a day of sailing, snorkelling, or diving in the pristine turquoise waters north of Jeddah.
- Art & culture: From the avant-garde Jameel Arts Centre to open-air sculptures by the likes of Henry Moore, Jeddah’s art scene is one of the region’s most vibrant.
Culinary culture
Jeddah’s food scene is a feast for the senses, reflecting its history as a crossroads of cultures. Start your morning with mutabbaq, a spiced savoury pancake, before indulging in fresh seafood along the coast—try sayadiyah, a fragrant rice and fish dish. For a local favourite, seek out a steaming plate of kabsa, a richly spiced rice dish often served with lamb or chicken. And for a sweet finish? Kunafa, a crispy, syrup-soaked pastry filled with cheese or cream, is a must.
Dive deeper:
To truly experience Jeddah, wander through Al-Balad after dusk, when the historic quarter glows under lanterns and locals gather for coffee. Explore Souk Al Alawi for vibrant fabrics and antiques, or unwind at a Red Sea beach club, diving into coral reefs before relaxing with a mocktail. The city effortlessly blends tradition and modernity, with art galleries, sleek cafés, and timeless experiences that showcase Jeddah's unique cultural charm while embracing its warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Good to know
Winter (November to March) offers the best weather, with mild temperatures and warm seas. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are the easiest way to get around, though Jeddah’s new metro is on the horizon. The currency is the Saudi riyal (SAR), and while Arabic is the official language, English is widely understood in tourist areas.
