The most famous temple is Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, which overlooks the city from a mountainside, a sacred side for many Thai people. From here, you can enjoy impressive views of Chiang Mai.

Day 1 - Arrival in Chiang Mai

Day 2 - Chiang Mai

Visit the most sacred temple in the north of Thailand; the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep is the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. Tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 1,056 metres (3520 feet), the temple is reached using a Naga (7- headed dragon head serpent) railing rising along both sides. The temple compound – reachable via a 300 steps stairs offers an exhilarating view of Chiang Mai city and surrounding countryside.
Drive back down to the city centre to visit some of the other impressive temples of Chiang Mai. Wat Suan Dok is one of them, which dates back to the 14th century when it served as the pleasure gardens to the Thai monarchy. Nowadays it houses several white Chedi’s, containing the ashes of Chiang Mai’s former Royal family. This temple also houses one of the most famous Monk Schools in the whole of Chiang Mai and the Wat Jedyod, also known as The Temple of Seven Spires.

Morning pick up from hotel and transfer to pier. Depart from the pier to “Phi Phi Island” (It takes time about 1 hr from Phuket to Phi Phi Island). Arrive at “Phi Phi Lay” explore the fantastic landscape of “Maya Bay” (where the Movie “The Beach” was partially filmed) swimming or snorkeling with colourful fishes. Discover “Loh Samah Bay” and “Pileh Cove” and sightseeing at “Viking Cave”.
Arrive at “Phi Phi Don” enjoy snorkeling or relaxing on a white sandy beach at Yong Kasem (Monkey Beach). Enjoy a great lunch at a beachside restaurant at Phi Phi Don (food only). Arrive at “Bamboo Island” free times on the beach enjoy your time for feeding fishes, swimming, snorkelling or relaxing. Afternoon departure from Hin Klang Island back to the pier, and back to your hotel free leisure.
