1- BYBLOS & JEITA CAVE
Beirut - Jeita - Byblos - Beirut (Tuesday & Saturday)
Discover the Jeita caves, located in the green valley of Nahr el-Kalb. Walk in these galleries for about 700m to admire the maze of stalactites and stalagmites. The lower gallery is crossed by an underground river which is visited by boat. Continue to Byblos to discover the oldest city in the world, continuously inhabited and where the history dates back 7000 years! This place is known to have been the birthplace of the Phoenician alphabet. One here, visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, including the citadel, the Roman amphitheatre, the royal tombs, the St Jean-Marc church and the old souks and the ramparts - before heading back to Beirut.
2- THE CHOUF REGION (Beiteddine & Deir el Qamar)
Beirut - Beiteddine - Deir el Qamar - Beirut (Sunday)
Departure for a land rich in traditions and one of the greenest areas of Lebanon, the Chouf. Visit the palace of Beiteddine and witness Lebanese architecture from during the Ottoman period. Then, discover the picturesque village of Deir El Qamar and its famous red-tiled houses - its secret little streets and its old "mandaloun" palaces are also a sight to behold. After this excursion, you will head back to Beirut.
You may choose from the below full day excursions. All have lunch included.
1- BAALBECK
Beirut - Baalbek - Ksara - Anjar - Beirut (Wednesday or Friday)
On this excursion, you will head for the Bekaa Valley and will visit the unique Baalbeck site, famous worldwide and witness to the great past of Rome (World Heritage Site).
Discover the magnificent temples of Jupiter and Bacchus. You will have lunch in a local restaurant then visit the cellars of Ksara, among the first Lebanese vineyards, operated since 1857. Enjoy a spot of wine tasting then visit Anjar, one of the few Umayyad sites in the country. After this excursion, head back to Beirut.
2- THE LEBANON-NORTH REGION
Beirut - Bécharré - The Cedars - Qozhaya - Beirut (Tuesday & Thursday)
Journey north and stop at Bécharré. Visit the museum of Khalil Gibran, great poet and painter, author of the "Prophet". Here you get to discover Lebanon's beautiful cedar forest. After lunch, you will go to the Qozhaya Valley. Enjoy its mystic atmosphere and green setting - this destination was home to the first Christians of the East. Among the many historic monasteries, visit Mar Antonios Qozhaya and Mar Lisha too - before heading back to Beirut.

5- SOUTH LEBANON REGION
Beirut - Echmoun - Sidon - Tire - Beirut (Monday)
See the South! Visit the Phoenician temples of Echmoun, followed by the discovery of the city of Sidon: the castle of the sea, the traditional soap museum, the souks and the caravanserai. Continue to Tire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There you can enjoy a lunch and visit the Roman remains that are spread over two sites: the necropolis, the impressive racecourse, the baths and the Arch of Triumph. After this day out, you will travel back to Beirut.
