8-night tour
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LUANG PRABANG
Welcome to Luang Prabang – a UNESCO World Heritage city in northern Laos, renowned for its well-preserved blend of traditional Lao and French colonial architecture. Set between the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, it offers a tranquil atmosphere with stunning temples, vibrant night markets, and breathtaking natural landscapes like waterfalls and caves. The city is also a spiritual hub, home to numerous Buddhist monasteries and monks, making it a peaceful and culturally rich destination.
- Upon arrival, after completing customs formalities and the exit gate, meet your driver who will be waiting for you in the lobby. He will be holding a Voyage Privé sign with your name on it. Your driver will meet you there and take you to your hotel.

DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG - TEMPLES AND PAGODAS BY BIKE

- Discover Luang Prabang and in particular, the National Museum and the Vat Mai temple, the residence of a Buddhist patriarch until 1975
- Visit Vat Xieng Thong, considered to be one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang
- In the afternoon, visit Wat Visoun
- The tour continues with Wat Aham, one of the city's main shrines dedicated to the ancestors of Laos, before continuing on to the Thai Lu village of Phanom
- Finally, climb the steps of Mount Phousi to enjoy an exceptional view of the former royal capital at sunset
- At the end of the day, take a stroll through the street's night market

DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG - KHUANG SY - PAK OU

- After the visit, return to the city centre with a stop en route at the traditional handicraft villages of Ban Xang Khong Ban Xieng Lek, specialising in silk weaving and Saa paper (paper made from the bark of the Saa tree)
- Drive to the Khuang Sy waterfalls to admire the picturesque scenery and swim in one of the natural pools
- Take a leisurely hike through the nature park and pass the Asiatic Bear Rescue Centre, home to more than 20 Asiatic black bears rescued from difficult situations

The city offers a mix of cultural experiences, from exploring historic temples and lively markets to enjoying traditional Cambodian cuisine and dance performances. Siem Reap combines rich history with a modern atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for travellers.

DAY 7: SIEM REAP - BANTEY SREI - KBAL SPEAN

- Take an easy 3km walk uphill to the sculptures, along a narrow path that winds through the lush jungle and offers magnificent views of the surrounding plains. You'll also explore a river with impressive sculptures depicting numerous Hindu mythological scenes and symbols. Continue on to reach a waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip in the stream

- Stop to observe the work in the rice fields and the methods of harvesting palm sugar

MandaLao - A day with elephants (shared excursion with an English-speaking guide)

Experience an unforgettable day in nature and meet elephants in a respectful and loving way. This excursion in Luang Prabang will introduce you to the special world of elephants, walk through beautiful Lao gardens and enjoy a traditional lunch. A unique experience where you observe the animals up close and learn more about their behaviour and habitat.
Between 8:30 and 8:45, your guide will pick you up at the hotel. Upon arrival at MandaLao, you'll receive a comprehensive introduction on elephant behaviour and communication. You will learn how to interact with these impressive animals in a respectful manner.
You'll cross the river for your first encounter with the elephants. You get acquainted as they play together with their cornacs (elephant trainers) and bathe in the river. Watching them enjoy their bath is a special moment. Then, embark on a beautiful 2.5km walk (about 1.5 hours). You walk past Lao gardens and follow the Huay Nok stream, which is surrounded by jungle. The route is mostly flat and offers plenty of shade, making it a relaxing hike.
After the walk, you'll return to MandaLao and say goodbye to the elephants. You can give them one last treat before you leave. For lunch, taste delicious traditional Lao dishes prepared with organic produce from the farm. Arrive back at your hotel in Luang Prabang around 13:30.

Explore the Siem Reap countryside on a Vespa (private excursion with an English-speaking guide, min. 2 people)

Together with a private guide, you'll adventure through the beautiful Cambodian countryside, riding an iconic scooter. Your day starts with a visit to APOPO, a landmine detection organisation. Here you will learn how they train heroic rats to detect deadly explosives. Then, leave the bustle of Siem Reap behind and follow small paths and alleys that take you deeper into the fascinating Khmer culture and peaceful countryside. You'll visit a beautiful, serene pagoda to learn more about the spiritual beliefs of the Khmer people. There, you will receive a traditional blessing from monks - you will sit on woven mats while they recite chants and sprinkle you with blessed water and flowers. This ancient ceremony is performed to bring good luck and protection.
