Marvel at any one of Gaudi’s extraordinary pieces of architecture strewn throughout Barcelona; Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Park Güell to name but a few and learn the important role light plays in each of his spectacular designs. Walk the vibrant Las Ramblas, filled with flowers and artistic performers, and pop into the Mercat de la Boqueria along the way; one of the greatest sound, smell and colour sensations in Europe and Barcelona’s most central produce market.
This is a magnetising city, so full of energy, and just waiting to share its free-spirited energy with you.
Day 2 - Embark Costa Diadema

Palma de Mallorca comes as a surprise to many people - it is stylish, sophisticated, intimate, yet bursting with life. Located on the southern shores of Mallorca, the island's capital city looks out over the sparkling blue seas of the Mediterranean. Half of Mallorca's population live here, enjoying the island's best restaurants, shops and nightlife as well as a thriving arts scene and a lively cafe society.
Day 4 - Cruising at sea
Spend your day in comfort on the cruise ship and take full advantage of the wonderful facilities onboard.

Rome has everything you'd want from a modern city but critically, it's the city's history that acts as the principal magnet. From the remains of its imperial glory days to the Renaissance and baroque riches of its historic centre, Rome is a glorious architectural patchwork - a living masterpiece. From the Colloseum to the Vatican City, Rome's illustrious past wont fail to captivate you.

This busy port is the gateway to a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Cinque Terre. Here you will find five crazily constructed fishing villages, set amid some of the most dramatic coastal scenery on the planet. Rooted in antiquity, these colourful villages exudes rustic charm that have been chiselled into the steep cliffs over the course of 2 millennia. Or perhaps you would prefer to jump on the bus and get off at the picturesque city of Lerici and spend the day on the beach.

Savona is situated on the Flower Riviera at 45 km from Genoa. The well-preserved old town has a number of buildings and monuments that date from the Renaissance. Throughout history, it was an important rival of the port city of Genoa. Christopher Columbus named the city several times in his letters and lived here for several years during his childhood.

Marseilles is a city full of art and culture with many wonders to share with you. From its Greek and Roman origins to its medieval religious foundations, the grand 16th century fortifications to prestigious arcchitecture of the 17th centrury onwards, there is so much discover in this city that you won't want to leave at the end of the day.
Day 9 - Barcelona
Arrival at 09:00
Arrive back in Barcelona, disembark one final time and fly back home.
On the 21st December you will cruise first and then stay in Barcelona aftwards
On the 27th December the cruise will be 8 nights long and visit Naples on the third day

Transfers: While transfers are not included in this offer there are several options for getting to the Pier.
From the hotel to the Pier: there is both the local bus service (transfer time is approx. 55mins with a new bus arriving every 10mins) and taxi (transfer time is approx. 20mins / 6.5km)
From the Pier to the Airport: You can either take a taxi (transfer time is approx. 18mins / 16km) or take a metro from the pier to Barcelona-Sants Train Station (transfer time is approx. 45mins with 1 change) and then take the train to the airport
