Your Destinations —
It’s hard to describe in a few words one of the most historic cities in the world. The modern city combines the profile of a contemporary metropolitan capital of music, arts, fine cuisine, haute couture, alongside a rich historical heritage dating back 3,000 years.
This booming Turkish city straddles by a gulf fed by several streams and flanked by mountains on all sides. Despite the fact the city was basically rebuilt from scratch in 1922, there are plenty of fascinating sights exemplifying this city’s rich culture, including: the ancient fortress Kadifekale, Saat Kulesi clock tower, the Agora ancient ruins and the Kizlaragasi Han Bazaar. Be sure to see as much as you can while in port.
The city of Rhodes is located at the northern tip of the island, and in ancient times Rhodes was home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Colossus of Rhodes. This giant bronze statue that once stood in the harbour was completed in 280 BC but was destroyed in an earthquake in 224 BC. No trace of the statue remains today.
With an unsurpassed collection of original Baroque architecture, fortified city walls overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and the spectacular Co-Cathedral of St John, which features intricately carved stone vaults and a famed painting by Caravaggio, it is no wonder that this smallest of European capital cities is a world heritage site.
Sicily is delightfully untamed and is resplendent with culture and history. It is an ideal place for nature lovers, with a beautiful coastline characterised by red dunes.
The famous city of Naples is a treasure trove of gastronomy, architecture, music and art with a rich cultural and historical heritage. Founded in the 8th-9th Century BC as a Greek colony, Naples is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, and its 4,200 acre city centre is actually the largest in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With the city being the birthplace of pizza, Naples has a wealth of authentic wood-burning oven pizzerias to try during your stay. The city is famous for its cuisine and wine, drawing culinary influences from the numerous cultures that have inhabited over the course of time such as Greek, French and Spanish.
Situated in the province of Rome, this sea port on the Tyrrhenian Sea, is known as the 'ancient town' and welcomes visitors with its 2 piers and lighthouse. With characteristic annual festivals and celebrations of its long history, Civitavecchia makes for the perfect stop to see a thriving Italian town and to sample the highly-celebrated local swordfish delicacy.
In this proudest of Tuscan provincial capitals, the scent of the sea is everywhere. And in the surrounding area, discover the marvels of the Tuscan Archipelago and the Argentario. From Livorno you can easily travel to some of the most fascinating cities in Tuscany and Italy.
Whether it's basking in the Mediterranean sunshine or being cooled by the famous Mistral wind France's second largest city and the capital of the Provence-Côte d'Azur region, is always a fascinating place to visit and a wonderful place for a leisurely lunch.
As France's most important port, Marseille boasts connections with Africa, Italy and Spain. The strong mistral wind blows away all traces of pollution and provides a clarity of air so pure that many famous artists have been attracted to the city: Cézanne; Braque; Derain; Dufy and Marquet.
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a cosmopolitan, Mediterranean city where you will find Roman remains and medieval neighbourhoods mixed with some of the best examples of 20th century art nouveau and avant-garde.
The winding backstreets offer something new around each corner. The pedestrian streets in the Old Town, the numerous parks and the magnificent waterfront and its modern architectural design all hold their own secrets. At the same time, they are testimony to the successful blend of old and new which characterises the city.

This offer is based on a full board cruise.
Built to bring you closer to the sea, Carnival Vista opens things up with outdoor spots like Havana Bar & Pool, SkyRide at SportSquare, and Seafood Shack… plus plenty of family- and kid-friendly spaces like the first IMAX at sea. On Carnival Vista you'll find Havana Bar & Pool, an onboard retreat that's an exclusive paradise by day... and a fun-for-all music-and-dancing hotspot at night. Grab a seat at the bar and order up handcrafted Cuban cocktails like the classic Mojito or traditional Daiquiri, plus fresh and free Cuban snacks.
The bar is just steps from the Havana Pool, whose ocean view and atmosphere mingles with the bar’s own, for a bit of that old-time Cuban resort flavor. Carnival Vista features two theaters, and we call the whole great big thing Carnival Multiplex. Behind door number one is an actual IMAX Theatre in all its big-screen, big-fun glory... the first of its kind you'll find anywhere at sea. And behind door number two? Surprise! It's Thrill Theater, the 3D experience where jump-off-the-screen visuals are only the beginning of a truly moving experience.
The Serenity Adult-Only Retreat is a world of complete peace, sea breezes and swaying hammocks. On Carnival Vista, we're taking the chill to new highs with even more options for stretching out and getting comfy. And now, you can get a light bite with a chopped salad station right here. Serenity’s the place to do the stuff that’s hard to do in everyday life — reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or do absolutely, blissfully, nothing at all.
Seafood Shack
A good seafood dish is quite the catch. However you like yours served — whether it’s on a roll, in a salad or atop a platter — Seafood Shack’s the place to cast your net. Imagine a New-England-style seaside spot where you can take it all in, enjoying a great meal complete with a side of ocean view. Carnival Vista is where you’ll find this shack by the sea, wherever in the world you happen to be!
Horizons Restaurant
Every night at dinner you'll find your menu featuring a selection of favorites... and perhaps future favorites, new and surprising dishes to try because your taste buds don't get a vacation. Bring all your buds and gather around a big table for a sit-down meal, complete with a fresh design twist you can't miss. Choose Your Time Dining and do dinner — plus a pre-dinner drink at Horizon's full bar — whenever the time is right.
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
High cuisine meets great atmosphere at Fahrenheit 555, a dining experience that stands toe-to-toe with some of the best steakhouses on land. This one features your choice of steak cuts, lobster, lamb and more… and inside, there’s even a full bar to pour great pairings. Outside, there’s seating for dining al fresco. They’re the building blocks of an amazing experience — delectable elements that combine with great service to offer an evening to remember.
Bonsai Sushi
So maybe you’ve had sushi before, but you’ve never had it like Bonsai Sushi, Carnival Vista’s onboard seafood-and-soy-sauce spot. Dine indoors or out, amidst expertly-pruned bonsai trees while enjoying sit-down service and a menu of delectable catches… plus soups, sides, sakes and desserts. So the next time you’re taking an onboard stroll, stop at Bonsai Sushi for a roll, a box or maybe a whole ship — it satisfies two.
The Chef's Table
When you cruise Carnival Vista, take a seat at The Chef's Table. At this gathering of fellow foodies you'll indulge in a cascading series of delectable plates as our chef shows off a little, all to the delight of the discerning palates seated around the table. Dinner is the main event, but prepare to have your eyes opened as you enjoy a galley tour, for a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens.
