Your Destination —
Stunningly picturesque, the Rhine is the second longest river in Central and Western Europe (after the Danube), and has historically been a vital waterway carrying trade and goods deep inland. Along the way, precipitous cliffs, steep vineyards, a castle perched on virtually every hilltop and pretty villages lining the river banks on either side, testifying to its importance as a great symbol of Germany.
Moselle
Moselle, flowing through France, Luxembourg and Germany, is a left tributary of the Rhine. It twist and turns its way between Trier and Koblenz along one of Germany's most beautiful river valleys and has been shaped by man for over 2,000 years, ever since it was first cultivated by the Romans. A myriad of castles towering over romantic wine villages line the banks of the river.
